“I thought that I understood my tax situation but after taking advice from Trevor, I realised how important to have him as my adviser. “Warren has been excellent in providing the support I needed, I was completely out of my depth with my first VAT return regarding partial exemptions. Warren took the time to understand my situation, went through all of my cases with a fine-toothed comb and supported me through all my correspondences with HMRC. I was hesitant to engage with a firm initially but Warren's confidence and expertise in this field had put me at ease from the beginning. He is also very transparent and reasonable with his fees. Even before receiving the decision from HMRC (that my VAT enquiry is closed) I have already recommended another colleague who is in a similar situation as myself.”

“I had failed to deal appropriately with an HMRC investigation and ended up with a demand which I knew was too high, but was at a loss as to how to move forward. I contacted WLH Tax and after Warren had looked at the documentation he took charge of engagement with HMRC to ensure that the matters were considered appropriately. Speedily and efficiently a satisfactory outcome was achieved. Fees were reasonable and well advised ahead - so highly satisfied with, and happily recommend, WLH Tax.”

“I used WHL for a Worldwide disclosure. I spoke to multiple accountancy firms before I spoke with WHL and it was clear they were subject matter experts in this field and were able to speak confidentially about the tax laws and dealing with the HMRC. Jessica Maude did a brilliant job on my disclosure. She is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience with the HMRC which proved to be invaluable. She provided clear, open and honest advice about the disclosure. I felt my issue was important to WHL and I was not just a number to be crunched. Because of this level of expertise I was very pleased that the HMRC agreed with the disclosure first time within 2 months of submission and the issue was speedily resolved. A big thanks to Jessica and WHL - I thoroughly recommend them to anyone who has similar issues.”

“We contacted WLH in 2022 regarding a letter received from HMRC for taxation on foreign income. Right from the first phone call, we found them extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very professional in their approach. Our case was handled by Anand and he was always available to answer any queries and he worked through our details in a thorough manner. We were kept informed all through the process. The queries raised by HMRC were all answered in a very efficient manner and the end result was much more favourable to us than we excepted. We would definitely recommend WLH for any potential clients.”

“I approached WLH after receiving an HMRC letter regarding a compliance check on my overseas and UK investments in October 2022. Warren was very approachable and helpful from the first phone call when I was completely at a loss as to where to begin. HMRC had issued a list of documents that were required within a short time frame and without Warren’s help and guidance I would have spent months trying to source what they needed. I handed Warren the authority to deal with the Tax officer on my behalf and his negotiations with HMRC were first class. Whilst I still needed to present documents he was able to simplify the process and remove the stress that I was under. His attention to detail also flagged up errors in the calculations made by HMRC in my favour and he negotiated a far more palatable settlement that could not have been achieved had I attempted the process myself. I would not hesitate in recommending the services of WLH if you are contacted by HMRC with any tax issues. I am very grateful to Warren for his guidance and support throughout the entire process.”

“Last year, I went to WLH about undeclared Foreign Incomes under Worldwide Disclosure Facility. Thank Providence that I went to them instead of some other cowboys who would have given me the run-around. WLH dealt with my case very efficiently and I settled with HMRC. Their professional fees were very reasonable. Many thanks to Warren and Astrid. Astrid dealt with my queries most efficiently. And, she is thorough and very professional. A very good communicator, too. Their office is near Oxford Circus and it is very accessible. You can do no better than WLH for Tax Consultancy. 5 STARS. Definitely recommended. It is safe to leave your tax problems in their hands.”

“Trevor has a heart of gold , he’s very understanding and supportive . We’ve been to hell and back together . He is a dedicated professional that puts up with the tears and late night calls . Warren and his team acted swiftly and professionally to expedite my case, keeping me informed every step of the process, managing my anxieties and resolving the situation in both a timely way and ensured that my liabilities were manageable. “I contacted WLH in early December 2020 in connection with a query I had received from HMRC concerning taxation matters arising from a period when I was working abroad several years ago. The thing that initially impressed me about WLH was that Warren, the principal, immediately spent over half an hour discussing the company's range of services and what advice and help they could provide in my particular case. During the following 4 months I had extensive communications with tax specialists Hannah and Astrid to enable them to compile a comprehensive package of information to submit to HMRC. They subsequently liaised with them re follow on queries until my case was satisfactorily resolved with HMRC. Most of this work was done during lockdown and throughout the WLH level of responsiveness, expertise and perseverence remained unfailingly high. I've been very impressed with the complete professionalism of WLH and unhesitatingly recommend them to potential clients.”
