“I have supported and been part of the community as well as helped with some Semi-Public Beta Testing for their new game WolfQuest Anniversary Edition which will eventually be made into their new game WolfQuest 3. At first the community was lovely and I have made friend there as well as had fun helping them with their new game and bug testing stuff for them as a community beta tester. However, today on 9/2/2020 I have been banned from both their Public Discord and their Beta Testing Server, their reason "Oh, it was your username. That's that."... My username was nothing bad or offensive, it was a simple reference to a Hindu Mythological creature and the day of my birth date. I tried asking them "What's wrong with my username?" since I would of changed it if someone found it offensive, however to my surprise I was blocked by the person I was trying to contact.
Keep in mind this is a small business of adults, who practically were acting like children banning people for no reason or at least not providing a reason. I am not sure what it was that bothered them about my username, but I still am rather confused as to what that was all about. Nonetheless, people still join their community, still support them, and still follow them when they are doing this to members of their community and game for one reason or another. All reasons that have been brought to my attention from others who have experienced this, some also share of being mistreated by them based on unknown reasons. For me that reason was my username and my username could of been changed if it bothered them, they did not have to ban me. I would advise most to stay away from them if you do care about mistreatment of community members by their leaders. We need to stand against businesses, people, and communities like this. Not with them.”
