“I ordered and paid for a pair of Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 headphones from Wonderprice in July.
Royal Mail subsequently marked the parcel as delivered. However, I am not disputing that Royal Mail attended the correct address. The problem is what happened to my parcel once they got there.
Royal Mail left a card stating that the parcel had been left “behind storage box by steps.” This is an unsecured, publicly accessible area beside a busy pathway used by people travelling to and from the nearby St Michaels Hotel/leisure club and the beach. The parcel was simply left unattended. When I became aware of the delivery and went to retrieve it, it was gone.
I immediately tried to locate it. I checked with my neighbours and also contacted St Michaels Hotel. Nobody had taken the parcel in or knew what had happened to it.
I then contacted Wonderprice expecting the matter to be resolved. Instead, I have spent a considerable amount of time exchanging emails and assisting with their courier investigation. I have supplied the Royal Mail evidence, answered repeated questions and even printed, completed, signed and returned Wonderprice's formal non-receipt declaration.
I repeatedly made it clear that I was not alleging Royal Mail went to the wrong address. My complaint has always been that an expensive parcel was left unattended in an unsecured public location and never came into my possession.
Wonderprice have now concluded their courier investigation and told me that their records, proof of delivery and GPS show the parcel was delivered to the correct address. Again, that was never in dispute. They have also acknowledged that there is a possibility the item was stolen after delivery. Their latest response is now to require me to make a police theft report before they will progress matters further.
I don't consider it reasonable that I should have to keep undertaking further investigative work to resolve a problem involving Wonderprice's chosen delivery company.
I paid Wonderprice for a pair of headphones. I have never received them.
Despite the amount of correspondence, evidence and cooperation I have provided, as of 5pm on 4 September I have still received neither the headphones nor a refund.
I have therefore now raised the transaction formally with my credit-card provider as goods not received and provided details of the circumstances.
My preference throughout this entire process has been incredibly simple: send me the headphones I paid for, securely and promptly. I would have happily accepted that and considered the matter resolved.
Unfortunately, after weeks of emails and having ordered and paid in July, I have reached the point where I feel I have no alternative but to pursue the matter through my card provider and share my experience.
This review is an entirely factual account of my experience with Wonderprice. I will, of course, update it if Wonderprice subsequently resolves the matter.”
“I purchased a phone and was pleasantly surprised at both the speed of delivery as well as the communication by the company.
So far, I have had no issues in setting the phone up.”
“I price difference to competitors made me sceptical at first, but I'm now a returning customer.
Not sure where they came from, but the Apple TV and Airpods ordered so far are genuine and a bargain.
May take a little longer, but worth the wait.”
