“I slipped down some slippery stairs and ended up at the hospital with a sprained ankle. Staff did not offer any assistance during me stay when I was clearly struggling with getting around. Very disappointed”

“The whole weekend was exactly what was expected, great fun, and a nice break from reality! Everything was stress free, staff couldnt be morw helpful, and the kids loved it! Most definitely be booking again! Only hang ups would be the cost of wifi in the lodges! Id happily pay the prices if it was per lodge, not per device, it was beyond extortionate! The bed wasnt the comfiest, and my back was in pieces, although it usually is anyway! The windows in the bedrooms were either open or closed, no secure middle ground. This was only an issue for the kids room, but you soon feel confident leaving them open if you wish to. These are picky things, and havent taken away from a 5 star rating!”

“Stayed in a silver lodge. Bed was like a brick and after reporting to reception they sent someone to change it or put a topper on mattress. We returned back that evening to find a spare quilt chucked onto the sofa, presuming this was the "topper" and I was to do it myself. It made no difference! Lodge was spacious and clean and most of park enjoyable. Felt that staff weren't very helpful at golden coast. Common areas very untidy and not clean (urine in changing rooms on floor). Was still not cleaned hours after reported it! Visited Twitchen house and felt the facilities and overall appearance was far better and fresh! Golden coast could do with a good tidy up and a few upgrades to improve standards. Overall we made the most of our stay and found the bus very good to travel down to beach and to and from other parks.”
