“WSE China promised full pay for February but then on the 24 Feb they asked employees to take a 50% pay cut. Pay was delayed from March 3 to March 6, and even though staff did not accept the 50% pay reduction, salaries were automatically cut.
Some received only minimum wage after working a full month's work (2480RMB for Shanghai). Others were called and fired with immediate effect as the company desperately tries to rescue itself from the CEO David Kedward's dire leadership.
Truly a shocking experience working at a global language company. I do not think the reputation will recover from the illegal and contemptuous decisions made by the CEO.
Students of WSE China are even talking about the dreadful actions of the company and asking why salaries are cut by 50% but course fees remain the same.”
