“ISO27001 audit. Initial contract, schedule, and stage 1 satisfactory. However, no stage 1 report was issued for 3 weeks before I queried with CfA who had the report but was not issued. The auditors (Malcolm Seaton, sub-contractors) had sent to CfA day after stage 1 audit completed. Following month, emailed auditor regarding stage 2 dates, no reply for 2-3 weeks, and only arranged and confirmed dates when I telephoned directly. This would have been not booked and 6 months lapsed resulting in redoing stage 1.”

“The CfA doesn't seem to be joined up. Their service has been pretty poor this year, specifically when trying to sort out the extra days required for our audits. There was a lack of explanation and helpfulness to resolve the issue, which wasn't of our making. Also we seem to get things randomly sent to us on occasions.”

“Our assessor is fantastic but the admin support lets them down. Had to chase iour entry on the CSE holders list for over 12 months.”

“My dealings with the CFA are poor, for a company that manages processes and standards, I believe an internal look at the company is needed Very slow to respond to reply to their emails with answers on most cases there is no response a certificate without a signature?”
