Please don’t rent any property from them in Greenwich, especially in Seren Park Gardens. I agree with all the low stars reviews below. Properties are always with massive defects, which are hidden during the viewing and not informed to the tenant. Scamsters is probably the best word to describe them, especially their leasing agents. The apartments are not serviced properly and things such as boilers, heating, door hinges, fridge hinges break down You have to follow up 300 times to get anything done. My current bedroom flooring is half corex and half wooden flooring because they had to take out a portion of the floor since it had expanded and was raised at a 50 deg angle There is also a constant leak issue through the bedroom window, which is still open 2 months after moving. I have been following up for over a week to have them fix the refrigerator door but alas no response. Their customer service department is a big joke. With a corex floor, a window leak and pathetic quality appliances- I’d say good luck to them finding another tenant after I break the lease.

Scammers, Never rent a property from them. I have been renting in UK for over 8 years and had worst experience with them (and later I found out that its not just me). 1. No support from property manager for issues 2. Would not return deposit for over 6 months (quiet common) 3. Worst property management and communication

Never look for a property in this junk agency unless you want to waste your energy and money. Before I rented, I made it clear that my previous rental agency might not be able to provide reference letters. After I stated many times, this garbage agency still required me to complete the referencing, and never mentioned that the referencing cost 48 pounds. Sure enough, The junk citation agency that cooperated with this junk agency could not complete the referencing about me at all, and rejected my offer for this reason, but in fact the landlord had already accepted my offer. After that, the junk agency started Ignore all your info, and the worst part is that this rubbish company still needs me to pay 48 pound referencing fee on the premise of not completing my referencing and losing the property, I have never heard of it Something like this happens in the UK and they are deducted directly from my deposit. So, I spent two weeks confronting this rubbish company, but in fact I spent a week waiting for them to deal with it. I have to make them pay for this disgusting behavior. I have also exposed this to the British government. The way the junk agency is handled, and I also filed a lawyer lawsuit against the junk agency to report their fraudulent behavior

Andy Weeranitikun isn't very good at communicating, I had to reach out to him to get information about my letting. I wouldnt recommend using Chase Evans, they are very unprofessional and seem slightly scammy. They wasn't quick to send my holding deposit back after a letting fell through. Andy was trying to keep the holding deposit and let me some other properties which then after more time, fell through again. I did get my £400 back in the end.

please do not choose chase evans, especially if you are a french tenant. I will not make a long comment because I have already lost enough time and money trying to sort out problems with this agency. Always very courteous but without any efficiency or kindness and totally bad. This comment after 8 months of renting and problems

I have Hired them to make Stress less in my Life and now because of their I am getting so much stress they can't even fix single Appointment for Valuation of the Properties. If you really want to delete this issue then please talk with your team and finish my Query asap If more delay and I am paying more money for the Remortgage or loosing other properties then Same Reviews will be given on other Sites as well. If you don't care then ignore my comment.

Poor performance, which is compensated with exorbitant prices. In addition, the quality is subterranean and the customer service non-existent. The employees are mostly unfriendly. Would definitely not recommend Chase Evans as a real estate agent!

BEWARE of Chase Evans. Already during our tenancy (4.5 years) they've always been slow and unresponsive. Once we our tenancy ended, they stopped (almost) any contact with us and haven't yet returned our deposit after 3 months of us leaving the property. They say it takes up to 10 weeks for the deposit to be returned (which isn't industry standard at all). I checked and saw that the deposit is not covered under the deposit scheme after 3 months, which means they're trying scam people, hoping that they won't be able to claim their deposit back with the deposit scheme. Now we have to report them to the Ombudsman and go through Mydeposit to try and get our money back. Unnecessary stress and hassle. Oh, goes without saying that all our calls/emails have been ignored. Dishonest and completely unprofessional! AVOID!

Worst agency, a lot of confusion and constant musical chair environment. They need to look into the managers and staffs for unprofessionalism from accounting, negotiators, property managers and managers in general. The whole set up is disaster especially Elephant and Castle branch.

Do not trust this cowboy outfit. I was unfortunate enough to have rented a property with them and their incompetence and unprofessional behaviour has caused me: 1) cost of £280+ at check out as they were unable to fulfill their commitments (evidence on email) to allow my cleaner re-entry. 2) stress of chasing them constantly and re-explaining their mistakes to them 3) time - I vacated the property on 17 Jan and at 31 March my deposit is still held with them as they delay at every step at least a week. Mistakes often happen especially during a lockdown, but the way chase evans has avoided acknowledging their mistakes and has passed the cost directly to me is frankly appalling. Truly unprofessional and incompetent and . Unfortunately you may not get a choice to avoid them if you like a flat they list. My advice based on my experience is: 1. Assume they won’t reply until you have chased multiple times. 2. Don’t trust any of their staff - get everything in writing. 3. Even with evidence in writing, expect they will try to rip you off for their mistakes rather than bearing any cost 4. Be prepared for a traumatic experience. 5. Be ready to claim against them from the deposit protection, the ombudsman, and legal claims. Good luck - you’ll need it

Horrible experience as well. Property management is disgraceful. Rented a property from them with known defects but was never informed. Dripping in 3 of the rooms including bed and lounge. Place was clearly inhabitable and had to argue for weeks to allow us to break lease but was still made to give and pay 4 more weeks. Took forever to get responses even to the most basic things. Would have to regularly chase for answers. Could not explain how horrible they were. Will never use them or rent from them.

The most awful agency in my life! For more then two months our rented property is flooded with water. Agency do not answer emails properly. They did not do a thing to mitigate the problem! Just various kinds of assesments and emails "that we are doing our best". REALLY??? Instead they force us to pay for the property we cannot live in. ITS A DISASTER

Terrible Terrible experience. Their sales agents are usually very good people, who do their job extremely well. The property managers however, oh dear god! I've moved from one property under Chase Evans' belt to another one of their properties. Everything was moving along fine. They act very quickly when it means taking money from someone. After I did all the check in process to the new property, I had to literally raise a dispute with My|deposits for my money back on the property I was before the new one (which is the same agency). They didn't reply to my e-mails anymore, didn't take my calls, nothing! As soon as mydeposits told me they would accept my dispute, Chase Evans proceeded to then call me 2 times per day and respond to my emails until everything was dealt with. Now I know where the "chase" bit from Chase Evans comes from, you literally have to chase them down 'til the last drop to get your deposit money back. The whole dispute issue and getting my deposit back took 3 months. Do not recommend them, and would suggest avoiding at any rate. You will have a hard time when you move out.

Worst agency ever. Never have I dealt with a more unreasonable agency, especially during a time like this when we are going through a pandemic. First of all, once we made an offer for the place which they have accepted, they have been very unfriendly and demanding. They required us to go to the office to show original copies of passport and even required my guarantor to show original copies of his passport or get it certified. I have never had another agency ask this of me before and they will not make any exceptions seeing as the guarantor is part of a vulnerable group. They have threatened to pull the contract/offer and put the house back on the market which is them just trying to use fear tactics. Its a shame because the flat was really nice, but it is not worth it, they have cause us so much unnecessary stress. After reading all the bad reviews, I regret choosing this agency and will never use them again. There are much better agencies with simpler processes and friendlier agents. Please do not use Chase Evans, they don’t deserve your money, take it to a better agency.

Worst letting experience ever. This agency will only take a holding deposit before you even try to make any kind of offer with the landlord. Also, the agent was extremely unfriendly, careless and inattentive in drafting out the contract. Foreseeing future problems in dealing with this agency, I quickly removed myself from any future negotiations before its too late. Do not waste your time and money with this agency no matter how nice the flat you are interested in.

First of all, they don't have professionalism. You ask them for viewing and they will say it is confirmed then they will say please wait for 5 mins and they will confirm if the viewing is still open or not (this is just before 5 mins of the viewing of a property) then again they make an excuse that please wait for 1 hr, and again 1 hr (at this moment me and my wife were waiting for almost 3 hrs just to get a confirmation from them). On top of this, they were rude. We also requested for another viewing they said we can't as our diary is full, they just completely ignored our diary and ignored even though asking politely for the viewing.

Salesperson Alexandre Chapalian is one the worst, rudest agent in E14. He got really upset after I didnt raise my offer and he started sending me insulting emails. I have never come across anyone like that before. Avoid them at any cost. They are overpricing their flats anyway.
