Poor quality materials (finish on Allendale cabinets became bumpy/lifted)- totally unsuitable for use in a kitchen - many replacements (same issue) and after over two years am now having to take legal action & take the matter to trading standards, as Howdens refuse to refund.

Any offer of refund? No, that’s my fault too! Trims not supplied so then had to order separately and wait for them to be in the store to collect.

Do not purchase quarts worktop through Howdens. A puposively brand new worktop was fitted with various holes either side of sink to be told basically this is normal and a repair is needed same day it was fitted refusing a replacement or refund legal action is bring taken.

They delivered a faulty appliance refused to sent an engineer replace or refund us. Just told us to contact the manufacturer ourselves. We quoted the consumer rights act but the management at Dronfield Depot refused to acknowledge our rights. Shocking attitude and customer service

Would likely suggest the buyer to look up the prices on other websites before confirming with Howdens as they are real cons!!• when the item was being refunded , TOM the manager said there are bits missing and wouldn’t even let my husband leave the item saying they are not insured and wasted his time, when I sent out an email asking them to check with the fitter for the missing item as he was the one who packed it for the refund.

No help what so ever, after sales team rubbish. On going problem with a new dishwasher that is not even plugged in but won’t collect and refund, now sending out engineer for an item I don’t want.

Rude, incompetent, staff. Sold parts not needed or requested and refused to refund. Couldn’t measure room properly and then didn’t take responsibility for mis-sized kitchen.

They have refused to discuss the issues with our project manager, were very willing to apportion blame to us or our project manager and have totally refused to refund any of the issues related to their errors.
