“JustAnswer.com and JustAnswer.co.uk are scams. Its dirty business model is like this: 1. The employees pretend to be customers and write fake reviews to brand itself, all 5 star reviews, and advertise on wikipedia (if you check Wikipedia, you will find the same gay used different names to delete negative information about it) and TrustPilot (it posted 19,000 fake reviews). So if you do not search carefully, you will be cheated by the web reviews. 2. The customer service online pretended to be professional and ask you several questions (actually they do not know any answers but just typing in preset contents), and guide you to make the 5 USD or 5 GBP payments, promising you will get expert answer within 1 minutes. 3. After your payment, you will find the system could not match any “experts”. 4. You click the online customer service, and it block you permanently. 5. Some useless “expert” will chat with you later, and you find they are not helpful, and you want more useful answers, then the “expert” will ask you to pay another 30 USD or 30 GBP for that, then, you will find they answers are still rubbish (you are on the hook). 6. You will find that after 7 days, JustAnswer will charge you 46 USD or 24 GBP monthly. There are hundreds of customers posted their experiences online, please check them (true customer reviews are mainly on Quora).”

I asked one question and paid for the answer . I have just noticed they have taken 17 payments of £38 out of my account . I asked one question and they put you into a membership . I have not heard or used this membership but they are keeping my money . The only reason this payment got cancelled was because I was given a new debit card by my bank . This company did try to take another two payments which my bank would not allow yet just an answer never tried to contact me once .
Be warned they are linked with s 3rd Party company that drains your bank dry .
Avoid like you would COVID .

“I was in Florida, phone went dead, searched for advise, came across Just Answer, it said $1 -- I did not catch the Intro information and that I would get charge $65 on my credit card if I did not cancel in 7 days, did not use them, found my answer at Batteries Plus, called and cancelled today when I found the charge on my credit card, they cancel at the end of the month and keep my $65, I have no use for them, so be careful and read the whole script so you do not loss money like I did.”
