“I was very disappointed with the lobster I ordered (Order # S-MLN-555263). One of the 3-pound lobsters seemed to have lost half its meat, indicating that it was caught long before it was delivered. They should have noticed it themselves when they pack up. But shipped out to me, which is not right.
Don't purchase lobsters from this guys.
I will never place another order with them, just want to other customers avoid being a fooled victim like me.

My daughter gave me a gift certificate for my birthday. I ordered two lobsters and one arrived dead. The tail from one of them came completely apart after cooking and was disintegrated in the shell. The company refused to remedy the situation because I contacted them outside of their 4-hour window. I notified them as soon as I cooked the lobster and saw how the meat looked.
Don’t do business with them when there are so many other businesses you can choose from.
The pics are from the 3 pound lobster that I ordered. It was $75! I expected more than a dead and spoiled crumbling tail from a $75 lobster.”

Ordered this directly from the company website for Valentines Day. Unfortunately, the only thing good I can say about this product is that the shipping was on time.
This was a colossal waste of money. It comes with 6 bags of chip (thrown in the bottom of the box and all smashed), 6 rolls, a stick of butter and a jar of mayonnaise. I ordered an extra pound of butter and lobster meat, along with some Whoopie Pies (which were okay). It was a good thing I ordered the extra meat or there wouldn't have been enough for everyone to have a sandwich. For a good lobster roll sandwich, you should have 1/4 pound lobster meat in the bun. Obviously with only a pound of meat for 6 buns, that was not going to happen.
The meat was also over cooked and "fishy" tasting. Some of the meat was so rubbery that my older family members, with, dentures, couldn't even chew the pieces up. I love lobster and have had good lobster rolls before...these were NOT good and truly warrant 0 stars. This "meal" cost me almost $200 and it really was bad.”

Spent $200 for the "free" shipping but items are not free when they are not edible! 2. Paid shipping surcharge to arrive on 12.20.2022 BUT items did not arrive until 12.21.2022. Items routed thru Memphis and I live in Baltimore, a fed ex hub. 3. Customer "service" is not really service by my definition. Agree with all comments and would review as a MINUS 10 if ranking available. Will never order from them again and I hope you won't either.”
“BEWARE IF THIS COMPANY. During the checkout process you are able to choose a delivery date on a calendar. Each date shows the cost for delivery for that particular date. I chose Dec. 21 as shipping date. This was free overnight shipping for spending $150 or more. I received a confirmation email which doesn’t have date but is a bill. First time and last time I will ever use this company. I do not recommend! I wish I had read the reviews here as this seems to be common place for them. The amount of time I spent shopping and placing this order was a total waste! The company claims I chose a date (23rd) with a surcharge, however I have no surcharge on my bill which proves I did not select the date they claim. I chose the 21st! They also said they had to postpone many orders in the 22nd-24th. In the end they blame fedex! MERRY CHRITMAS FROM MAINE LOBSTER NOW. and all Yelp reviews are awful. Should have checked there first!”

My most recent order was delivered to the wrong address 5 doors down the street. It sat on her front porch for about 7 hours until she noticed the package. She came to notify and I picked it up. It was not completely thawed, but very concerned. The delivery service not Good.

“Ordered lobsters for father’s day. Maine lobster now did not include the apartment number. FedEx called them when they couldn’t deliver and were given the apartment number. FedEx could not redeliver that same day. When the package arrived, my father received dead lobsters for father’s day. Customer service was extremely rude. They refused to take responsibility. Don’t order from them. If something goes wrong, they won’t do anything”
“This review is for the replacement order because the first order for 2lb of frozen lobster meat tasted old and could not eat it.
It took my review for them to respond to my phone calls and email.
They replaced the two lbs of frozen lobster meat with another 2lb of frozen lobster meat. Arrived frozen and on time( same as last order).
Unfortunately, it also was old tasting and had to be throw away. I gave 5 different people a tail to try. I wanted to be sure it wasn't me with a tasting problem. 4/5 spit it out immediately. The 5th person took two bites..put the rest in the trash and said it tasted old and slightly moldy.
I can only comment on the frozen lobster meat.”
