“They are a rip off. They will charge you for services they didn’t do so avoid them”

“I ordered 2m3 they charged for 3 and said they would refund. The concrete was too dry at first so the guy had to add more water by which point the mix was not great. When driving off he didn’t put the arm in and damaged my concrete fence post. He said He would put me down for less concrete so I was expecting a lower bill. They charged me extra anyway and when I phone to get a refund they gave me the run around passing me from one person to another over about 4 months. They never intended to refund me and gave lies about who does refunds or their bank account was down or they didn’t have the details with them. They said they would refund but it never came through. They know you’ll just give up in the end. What else can you do. Very frustrating waste of time. Very disappointed.”

“Concrete booked on Wednesday for 8am slot Saturday morning. Prepared for pour Thursday and Friday cleared diaries and enlisted help for Saturday pour. On Friday night I was contacted at 7pm informing me delivery would now be 10am. I agreed as long as it was 10am due to later commitments. On Saturday around 9:30 UK concrete called saying it would be later now as the lorry had only just left the last job. I asked when and was first told 11, so I stressed how important 11 was to me as I had commitments later. The shipper would check and call back. He did call back and this time said the lorry hadn’t,t left the previous job. We agreed that he would call me when the wagon arrived back in the yard. It is now 1 o’clock no call and no concrete.”

“Not one mix of the Concrete was consultant throught the whole pour, it was either far to dry, not enough cement due to the rubber shoot missing on the back of the truck to direct cement into the mix therefor throwing cement all over the road and not in our mix, the total lack of consistency made it impossible to lay the slab how it should be laid and took twice as much effort from the boys”

“Not enough or no retardent added to the mix as requested on site. Screed was settting by lunchtime and my floor now needs levelling compound everywhere”

“The price promised was wrong and the appointment time for delivery was also very very poor. The appointment time for delivery was between 10-12 pm but the delivery arrived around 3.30 pm that was very disappointing. Thanks”
