Erica and the entire team at 1st Apostille were fantastic from start to finish — and impressively fast. I would strongly recommend them.
I needed to apply for a UAE 10-year Golden Visa, which required my 2002 UK change of name deed to be fully attested (FCDO, UAE Embassy in the UK, and MoFA in Dubai). Unfortunately, I had lost the original notarised documents, and the solicitors who prepared them over 20 years ago were no longer in business.
Although I had a clear scan of the original deed (including the apostille), every solicitor I approached told me I would need to create entirely new deeds (£250+VAT), have them certified and notarised (£100+), and then complete full UAE attestation (£200+). It sounded complicated, expensive and time-consuming.
Thankfully, my daughter found 1st Apostille online. They advised that new deeds were not necessary and that they could instead certify the document and issue a new apostille — which they did in under 24 hours. They then handled the full attestation process for UAE Golden Visa purposes and, within just nine days, couriered the completed documents to me in Dubai.
Thanks to their efficiency and guidance, my Golden Visa process is now underway.

My only, very minor criticism is that the DHL cost was extortionate, then when they came to deliver my end they were pretty slack about it. I KNOW that’s on DHL, but, the fact the cost was insane, would expect the service to be better on that side.”
