“I purchased a 16" shoehorn from Abbeyhorn in 2025 and I wish I had found this company sooner. The shoehorn is beautiful and of course practical. I highly recommend the workmanship, and the shipping was fast as well. A perfect gift item: I wish Abbeyhorn made more products. (But I don't know what they would be!)”

“Abbeyhorn, I use the shoe horn daily and other horn items all the time, from mustard spoons to tea caddy spoons. The quality is superb, the craftsmanship fantastic, so much better than plastic. Buy something properly made once and live with it for the rest of your life then pass it on. Now that's quality.”

“We have been an Abbeyhorn stockist at Leffot since 2009 and have always been extremely happy with the quality and craftsmanship of their products. Their shoehorns, brushes and other horn goods are beautifully made and reflect a level of traditional craftsmanship that has become increasingly rare. Just as importantly, their customer service has always been excellent. It has been a pleasure working with Abbeyhorn for more than 17 years, and we are proud to continue offering their products at Leffot.”

“Last March I ordered a long shoehorn from Abbeyhorn for a friend's 70th birthday, which was imminent. Not realising at the time that some items are 'made-to-order', therefore taking a few days to actually be made up, I subsequently requested the gift to be sent to me via Special Delivery, for which I would be happy to pay the extra. The gift turned up two days later - in plenty of time for the birthday - and when I rang the Abbeyhorn office to ask how much I owed (which must have been in the region of £10) I was most suprised to hear 'Nothing, it's on the house'. Excellent customer service and something which these days is as rare as hen's teeth. My friend loved his shoehorn too!”

“I enjoy owning the finest products available, especially utilitarian items. I am less impressed by famous brands than by quality. And I have no interest in impressing anyone other than myself. I purchased some private-labeled bone and horn items from an online influencer. Noting the exceptional quality, I searched the internet and discovered Abbeyhorn had made them. So, I replaced my influencer-labeled items with those branded by this exceptional and rare atelier. Now I have a source for my private use, as well as gifts that I could not be prouder to give. Plus I get to support the workmanship of Paul Cleasby and his staff of artisans.”

“Being of a mind to eschew plastic where possible, and being financially able to do so, I decided to replace my plastic combs, and a pair of collar stays, with a full size horn comb, a pocket horn comb, and a pair of horn collar stays. I am more than satisified with this purchase. The weight and heft of the full size comb has made raking the old locks rather a joy. I always detect a bit of a tingle in the well worn scalp as the full sized tines drag smoothly across my cranium. Using the horn pocket comb when wearing a suit tends to make one feel a little 007-ish, escpecially after shooting one's impeccable cuff-linked wrists. The collar stays are well...collar stays. But what they're not is plastic. I could not be more happy with these items. So happy, in fact, that I plan on buying the exact same set for the significant men in my life (as in my father and son; you buy them for whomever you choose. There's no judgement with combs.) for holiday presents. Cheers and thanks for such a great product. Pete”

“Best company I've ever found, by chance googling. I am interested in muzzleloading guns, especially long rifles from the early American frontier era. These used powder horns to carry gunpowder. It is impossible to find originals and modern repro's are either poor quality or very expensive. With new skills acquired, I made my own. Having found Abbeyhorn, not only did they have various sizes but also the option of colour. Nowhere else seems to give this service. The horn was delivered quickly and well packaged, just what I needed. I shall use you again. Yes my surname is Horn, perhaps a horn worker from yesteryear!”
