Le vert militaire donne beaucoup de caractère à cette montre et une grande discrétion (camouflage🙂). Le bracelet est un peu moins discret mais s’accorde bien.
Le seul petit regret est que le bracelet NATO donne une sur épaisseur à la montre.
Un bracelet plus classique fera gagner en discrétion à cette très belle montre.”
“The wait was long but finally when I had the watch in hand all that time seemed worth it. But unfortunately I have not worn the watch since I got it all due to one simple design flaw. The irony is that that flaw is in the strap buckle and not the watch. One side of the buckle just sits out so prominently that it is visually disturbing. I know I can change the strap but yeah now I need to find an alternative to get to finally wear this watch and enjoy it. The watch is such a looker and exactly what I hoped for, but that buckle has just spoiled all that excitement I had for it!
Fortunately, Airain values their customers. Since my initial review Tom has personally reached to help me out with a solution. It’s is great to see Airain values their customer’s feedback as this what brings you back to the brand and not just their products.”

We are sorry to hear you don't wear the watch because of the experience with the buckle. We are aware of the fact that in some cases the designed buckle is not comfortable for everyone.
Fortunately, there is something that we can do about it! We are meanwhile developing a new buckle for the Airain Sous Marine which is a normal single buckle. As soon as it is finished, it will be available for our customers and we will be happy to send you one of these so you can enjoy your watch to the fullest.

It is a beautiful watch and of very high quality. The winding of the movement is very smooth. The price of the watch is very reasonable for what you are getting and the presentation is excellent.

“In my opinion, the Airain Type 20 Re-Edition, limited edition watch, very closely matches the design and specifications of the original 1950’s Type 20. It may not be identical but it is close enough to be appreciated and respected. When I initially received the watch I noticed that the case both looked and felt as if it should cost much more than I paid for it. “I gave the watch 5 stars because it's a beautiful piece in every way and exceeded my expectations. However, if there had been an option for 4.5 stars I would have gone for it. The design of the strap buckle is not good and you should re-think it. The strap is very nice and matches up very well with the watch. However, the buckle doesn't sit flush against the strap and instead sort of sticks out at the edges. It's almost as if the buckle is upside-down. With that exception, the watch is amazing. It's retro in all the right ways and evokes the spirit of the great pilot watches from the past without overdoing it. I look forward to wearing it for many years.”

“My first month with the new Airain Type 20
After unpacking the DHL parcel received by the end of June and admiring the optical aspects of the long awaited timepiece the moment of truth could begin. I filled the movement with power for the promised 60 hours and put the watch on my wrist. Yes, the look and feel were perfect and life with my new pilot‘s instrument took its course.
Looking back on the last four weeks I am happy to confirm, that I am fully satisfied by the looks, the functions, the accuracy and especially the most wearable size if the Airain 20. The only drawback I must mention, is the fact that my other classic watches are remaining untouched and risk to get rusty by the time🥴
