“Awful company and terrible Customer service, wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them. I have the same story as many others, ordered from the website at the beginning of February only to get a call telling me the item was not in stock until the 9th of March, even though their website allowed me to place the order. I asked for it to be cancelled/refunded and I tried to look for an alternate product elsewhere. Unfortunately for me my search only brought me back to Bathroom House, where they had a different (more expensive) item that would work instead, so I again ordered and paid for it. This time I received the following email from Zoey at customer service:
I am writing to inform you that unfortunately, our system has allowed us to oversell this item to you. This item will be back in stock on the 9th of March. Would you like to choose an alternative? If you’d prefer to wait, we can send the item the same day it comes in (with the rest of your items). Please let us know how you’d like to proceed.
Again, the item was not in stock, how frustrating!!! After being unable to find what I needed elsewhere I emailed Zoey back to say that I was not happy that their website allows you to purchase items not in stock, and that as I needed the item could they send it out to me with the rest of my order.
I had the same issue as previous customers, firstly no acknowledgement of my email, or any confirmation that the order would be sent out, secondly when it did not arrive on time, I called customer service several times...no answer. Then emailed Zoey back....again no response. My order finally came, and guess what? It was only the out of stock item and not the full order. Again, very frustrating!!! My Husband went out and bought the missing item, and I again called Bathroom House to get a refund.
To say I would NOT recommend this company or ever use them again is a massive Understatement, they are very unreliable”
“Terrible company advertise things they don't have in stock. I am sure they will reply with something like this is unusual which is a complete load of rubbish, read the reviews it happens a lot. Then having contacted me to say they had oversold it, (even though the website was still saying they had stock) they then said it would be in next day and sent out, it was not, it took over a week to arrive when i ordered next day delivery, did they refund the carriage no they didn't they just gave back the difference between next day and normal delivery, so still cost nearly £30 to be delivered a week late. In addition they know they need a telephone number for their courier ????? and didn't think to ask for it until it was too late for it to go out before the weekend even though there had been many emails regarding the order. All this was all miss-managed by their customer services representative Rebecca who I am sure will respond to this with platitudes about how it is not their fault and other such rubbish, read the other reviews and order at your own risk, its something I most certainly wont be doing ever again.”
