“First off its not BHO, because they subcontract the work. When I began to ask questions after the work was done about the warranty and work, the Indian guy (Shawn) on the phone (BHO) said he was just a dispatcher. I asked to speak with a customer service rep and he claimed to be the customer service rep also. Not getting anywhere i asked to speak to a manager. He refused my request several times, but ultimately said a manager will have to call you back. Waited 2 hrs and called back to the company, this MF blocked my cell number. I used a google number and called back. Shawn if thats his real name was very surprised to hear from me. He again refused to allow me to speak to a manager, saying he would deliver the message. All in All stay away from the company and based on the positive reviews I hired them to do the job, are definitely lies. I wish I could post the phone conversation, but he wasn't told that I would be recording the converation initially.”

“Young men can out and gave estimate. Took pictures to show boards with rot to be replaced, caulked and painted. We agreed on a price and date for completion. When they showed up to do the work, they took more pictures (some of the same) and explained they would require more work than discussed and couldn't give me an estimate of the work. I felt that many of the pictures was the same showing the wood rot and this was a typical bait and switch operation.”

“Speaking with a “Sean,” when calling BHO St. Petersburg (813-922-3049), I set up a dual chimney inspection. I clearly explained to Sean that the job was at a 3-level townhome, and that the tech would need both an extension ladder to reach the 2nd floor roof, and then a step ladder to reach the 3-rd floor roof. Sean said he’d make sure the tech had the correct ladders required for the job. Sean further stated the inspection cost would normally be $69/ flue; but, as the tech was already on the job the cost for a dual flue would be $69 for the two. I then told another, 3rd neighbor (with their flue a few feet away) of the planned appointment; that neighbor called the same BHO St. Petersburg (813-922-3049) and set up an appointment for the tech to inspect their (3rd) flue too. The cost for the three should have been $138.00 (Sean having stated the dual flue would be done at the cost for a single). However, the tech charged $200.00, stating Sean failed to take into account the height of the work. And, the tech showed up without the necessary ladders for the job: I loaned the tech the use of my 8-foot step ladder, so that the 3rd level could be accessed. These are the facts, and I’m very disappointed with BHO, and will tell all my other townhome neighbors to NOT use BHO.”
