“I've ordered twice from Breukelen Polish and would order again. My first order took awhile and my 2nd order is a pre-order and hasn't shipped yet. The polishes are very pigmented; opaque in one or two coats. I have Chill Son, Grimey, Bread Stuy and Luna Blues. All beautiful; the first 3 colors not necessarily super unique or at least in my collection but Luna Blue is definitely unique. It's a flattering all season blue that's not too light and not too dark. I don't like super dark blues that look black and this color is the perfect mid tone blue. Breukelen Polish is worth the patronage and if you haven't supported this black female owned business; you should!!!”
“Everything arrived safely and is beautiful. The color selection is so fun! I don't know how consistent the formula was, as there were differences between the crème polishes. Everything was heavily pigmented, and some applied beautifully, like Knickerbocker. Bread Stuy, for example, was globby and didn't thin out well on the nail. I used polish thinner a little before using for the full manicure for this color specifically. I didn't notice any shrinkage after applying a top coat, which is always welcome. I change polish pretty quickly so I'm not able to speak on lasting power, but there was minimal tip wear at two days. I do think the shipping packaging might need to be considered; every polish shifted out of its spot and was knocking into each other. Luckily, there were no casualties, but it did make me nervous to open!”
“Good morning. I wish I could give you a review on the product, but USPS lost my package or it was stolen. I am waiting for them to call me back so I can report it. It says delivered at the front door on Friday at 9:51 a.m. I was out Friday, but when I got back to my office this morning there was nothing here. Not sure what happens next, but this will not deter me from ordering from you in the future.

Hi Marissa, Yes some colors are not as opaque as others and it depends on the look you want. Gellies is generally 'goopy' but I recommend storing it in a place with cool temperature if you aren't already!
“I quickly fell in love with the color selection and the ease of application. One coat provides a lot of coverage! I was pleasantly surprised. The only reason the review is not a 5 star because it does leave a yellowish tint on the nail after polish is removed. Other than that, some of my favorite colors!”

So sorry to hear about the staining. Be sure to use a base coat to prevent this and also you can clean your nail bed with lemon and baking soda!

The polish dries quickly once on nail bed, and streaks if you're not fast with application, thus needing an additional coat of polish to look even.
