“I want to warn fellow authors about my experience with *Book Publisher Expert*. They charged me **\$2,700** with the promise that my book would be published on four platforms, along with providing me an author certificate and a copyright certificate. Not only did they fail to publish my book using the email I provided, but they are now demanding **an additional \$1,300** just to give me access to my own intellectual property. This is completely unacceptable. When I posted a negative review on Trustpilot, they even threatened me with legal action if I didn’t remove it. This company has been dishonest and manipulative. Please be cautious and avoid falling into the same trap”

“AVOID! VANITY PUBLISHING SCAM! They did NOTHING but publish my work on Amazon! I found out that's FREE to do and very EASY! They don't do any work for you! After they take THOUSANDS of dollars from you, they charge you an ongoing royalty for your OWN WORK! I'm having to get my hard earned money back from my bank. THEY DO NOT REFUND! This is a vanity scam! Look them up! They try to sound real professional, but they are JUST A SCAM!”

“This is a large-scale international publishing scam run by 10+ people between the US and Pakistan. Their addresses are fake. Phone numbers are masked VOIP. Domain names are registered through proxy. Their names are fake. See the following lawsuit filed against them by Amazon on October 30th, 2023: Amazon.Com Inc. et al v. Wasim et al Case 3:23-cv-05580 filed 10/30/23 If you've given them your money already, like I did ($1,500 for nothing), then here's what you need to do right now: Send them an email and/or text message to let them know that you've discovered that they're scammers and that they need to pay you back the entire amount or you'll just chargeback through your bank. A chargeback will cost them money, 'cause they'll get charged on top of the full transaction amount. They have an incentive to just give you the full refund instead. Do not get tricked. They're in a bad position once you discover them. Do not converse with them. They'll try to scare and confuse you. They'll lie when communicating with you, as they are trying to produce false documentation for chargeback reversal. At the same time, they don't want you to have valuable communication to copy and show to your bank. Stick to the point. All that they need to do is say yes or no to the full refund, in a written email or text message. That's the only thing. There's nothing to be discussed. Do not entertain them. If they refuse to refund the entire amount, or if they don't give you a yes or no to the full refund within their 1st reply, or if they don't respond within 24 hours (or within the average timeframe in which they respond to you where longer than 24 hours), then call your bank immediately after and initiate a chargeback for every transaction you've made with them. Tell your bank that you've fallen for a vanity publishing scam and that you've already tried to get the scammer to refund the full amount, but that the attempt has failed. Mention that they pose as publishers only to put your work on Amazon publishing and then even try to take a cut from your sales (since they become the unnecessary middleman between you and a free publishing service), tricking you into paying for a service that's free (Amazon publishing is free). Let your bank know that they don't produce any other work and that they're faking their other services. It's just a vanity publishing scam where they get money from you for nothing. Don't worry, these people cannot do anything. They don't have access to the courts, so they can't harass you through the legal system. They're too concerned with hiding from the courts so that they won't get discovered and served with legal papers, themselves. They have no power whatsoever. And their bank accounts (of which they have several) very likely already have high chargeback ratios. So you have the upper hand in this in every way possible. Amazon has managed to shut down many of their sites.
