“Title: A Complete Disaster - Avoid Romford Honda and the HR-V at All Costs!
I purchased a brand new 2020 Honda HR-V from Romford Honda, and it’s been an absolute nightmare from day one. Within hours of driving it off the lot, the gearbox failed, leaving me stranded. I contacted the dealership immediately, and they took four long, agonizing weeks to "repair" the issue. To make matters worse, after weeks without my car, I finally got it back only to discover the problem was still there! It's shocking that a new car would have such a major issue, and even more appalling that the dealership's repair process was completely ineffective. This experience has left me with zero confidence in the HR-V and Romford Honda’s service team.
In the end, I was so fed up that I had to sell the car for £4k less than its value just to be rid of it. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
100% sold me a defective vehicle
Was told by other Honda dealers locally where I live to get rid of the car
No dealership would repair it
Even though it had 12 months Honda warranty,

If you look into your records
You will notice that gear box issue and coolant issue was on the day I drove it home,
Within 3 weeks of driving vehicle I called out your recovery service after hrv broke down and had it recovered to local Honda
Look at your records at the dealership you own before replying to reviews,
There is a list
Went to 2 different Honda dealers for repairs still under warranty
None would touch the vehicle,
Again look into this
And your repair wasn’t done
When picked up car 4 weeks after
Still issues ,
Again Brayleys are the cowboys
Will be taking it up with the ombudsman
Stay away from used cars,
Honda dealership that did diagnostic in august
Advised me to sell vehicle as soon as possible coolant was leaking and couldn’t see it on floor and advised that is was going intothe engine and this problem was within 3 weeks of purchasing car, My only mistake was I should have taken car back and had refund that was advised by first Honda dealership when it went in February that had look at car,
Since January I had only put 3 thousand miles on car neither gear box and coolant had been repaired same issues still there
Dealerships will say anything to protect their
Reputation,
Please be careful when buying used car from Brayleys
I don’t want anyone experiencing what I went through
