Disgraceful company the morales are to hound people daily for a debt they probably bought for pennies. I think it's scandalous they are allowed to operate this was without governing body holding them to account many families are struggling and this company does not ask you to contact them it down right demands you contact them worst company out should not be allowed to operate with way they hound people 😉

Cabot financial hound people . Young people in call centres trying to score points ripping off the vulnerable playing into their hardship . Scum who work for this debt collection agency . Times are changing there jobs will end soon and these companies!!

Quite Possibly The Least Professional, Unethical Company Operating In The UK Where can I start, maybe I should start by pointing out that 1) My experience with this company probably carries little or no weight as ultimately people like myself are the people that this company directly target to manipulate, disrupt and harass. 2) Indeed the sole purpose of this company is to acquire debt for a low fee and then use whatever means they can get away with to make the peoples life's they target as unpleasant and as stressful as possible so they can then extort as money as they are allowed to out of them. The greater issue is that the government allow this company to operate, but that is a separate matter. Despite my personal opinions on the affect this review will have, I do feel obligated for all those business that may consider using this company as a debt collection solution, which forms a crucial part of their business model to publish my own experiences. I do not owe them a debt nor have they actively pursued me for payment. Instead they have incorrectly entered a default onto my credit file. When challenged about the validity of their actions, their under trained staff at every junction have been unable to provide accurate information or answer any of the questions put to them. Instead they hide between unfactual sound bites and vanilla company lines. Unfortunately it seems they prioritise profit margin as opposed to adequately training and educating their staff and one would imagine will be there downfall. When asked to provide information of why the default was added it took several requests to get a response and when I did it was purely a statement of an account which I have already stated didn't belong to me. When asked to provide a SAR this was late. It took months to escalate the issue and even when this was done I had the same generic response I had previously been given by standard complaint handler. Not at any point have my questions been answered or evidence relating to the validity of the default been provided, or even an explanation as to why their own process have not been correctly followed issued. I have subsequently asked the CEO and senior executives to investigate this matter, again this has not been done within the specified time scale. Needless to say their actions to date have been not only unethical but also shown a clear disregard the regulations, processes and time scales that govern them. I believe should any governing body undertake any kind of detailed investigation of this companies operating practices the damning conclusion would be that they regularly breach a significant number of the regulations they should be adhering to. For any business looking to sell debt or looking for a debt recovery solution, I sincerely urge you to look elsewhere, irrespective of the murky pool of companies who operate in this sector, their most certainly will be more efficient and more professional companies you can use than this one. For members of the public like myself, I urge you upon first contact from this company, do not feel threatened, be confident enough to challenge them and get advice as soon as you can, for the majority of people, I am sure you will find when challenged this company and its inadequate staff have more than likely not acted in the correct manner or mishandled your case in some shape of form. The sooner they become answerable for their substandard operation practices the better. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND CHALLEGE THE LEGITIMACY OF ANY CLAIM THEY MAKE TRUELY ONE OF THE MOST POORLY RUN AND WORST COMPANIES THIS COUNTRY HAS IN OPERATION QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ASKED OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITEE AND CEO
