Purchased 5 year cover for a leather reclining chair with powered headrest from Leekes.
Chair only 14 months old very rarely used (around a 2 to 3 times a month if that) however recently wife noticed a patch appeared on headrest.I tried to clean it off with the leather care product I purchased at the same time as the insurance but I made it worse.
We then decided to call on the accidental damage insurance we where sold as all bells ringing cover for leather suites.
How wrong where we.They rejected the claim saying it was body fluid that had caused the problem.When a technician came to assess the chair he had an iron that no doubt tested the moisture level in the leather and assumed it was perspiration .I even told him I think it was a hair gell I used that caused it and HE said it may have had a reaction. I also asked one or two questions about whether ⁸they use a spectrometer to match the colour .(having worked in the coloured coatings and inks industry for over 40 years ) The guy hadn't got a clue ,he said "I just send the sample off and leave it to them."All he did was take photos ,ripped a swatch of the under of the seat and left saying "Good Luck"He must have know from experience the claim would be rejected
DON'T BUY INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY ITS A COMPLETE
WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!

“The representative came out to rectify my Next furniture. The rocking chair’s arms had sagging material, it is only a year old. The technician resolved issue. The armchair also a year old creaks, the arms are uncomfortable as the frame can be felt through the 1cm foam. This apparently is acceptable tolerance after a year!!! So disappointed in Next will never buy again from there.”
“Technician came out to look at my next sofa told us nothing he accepted the there was a design fault then reported back to next it was a dressing of cushions issue. Very deceiving company”
“these people are con artists..they came out to look at my sofa..told furniture village a different story or so they say...the told me my cozee leather sofa was leather stretched
and the sofa would need replacing its only 4 months old.
then they sent a report to furniture village saying just ignore the customer.
i never got the report ..from anybody”
