“Stress had me second-guessing everything until I found TRAKMINT.ORG online. Their quick response, clear communication, and genuine patience made all the difference. Thanks to their guidance, what once felt impossible became manageable.”
“I went onto motcheck.com because I wanted to see my vehicles history. I was initially charged £0.50 for a 24hr trial. While I was waiting for the report to come through I noticed that an additional £14.99 had been taken from my account. The following day a further £7.99 was taken from my account.
Having now looked into it, £14.99 is for a subscription for access to 13 MOT records per month and £7.99 is for 5 MOT records per month. At no point did I knowingly sign up for those services.
I contacted the Barclays Bank fraud department and they suggested that I speak to the company before going down the scam/fraud route. I contacted the company and it would appear that there was an issue with their website and the money had been taken in error. I have just had £22.89 deposited into my account from MOTcheck.com. all's well that ends well. I suggest others who have fallen foul to this contact the company and make sure they unsubscribe (on their website) as soon as possible.”
“CheckMOT are an absolute rip off. I was invoiced £0.50 to check one MOT then had another £14.99 deducted and then £7.99 deducted. Was not asked to confirm and could not stop it. Very misleading and dishonest company. User beware. To unsubscribe is so obscure and difficult to figure out as well.”
“They have sent me an email stating that I need to renew my MOT next week. This sounded strange so I checked with the Gov site and another free MOT checking site and both verified what I thought-it expires next April. Is this just a scam to get me to pay to use their full checking system?”
