“Control Account pursued aggressive tactics on an unverified debt, escalating fees without verifying legitimacy. The invoice they cited was misspelled, and their initial letter looked like a scam, with broken links that raised doubts about authenticity. Despite my attempts to clarify with their client, they ignored all reasonable explanations and continued pressuring with added fees. If you’re facing similar issues, I strongly recommend escalating your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) to ensure fair handling and avoid unnecessary financial stress”
“They do not adhere to their core values or the csa codes of practise outlined on their website. They take overpayments for months without informing the customer and then refuse to return the overpayment even though they've said they would. Complaints made to various agencies. I just want my money back.”

shocking to say the least. I received a bill for £132 and paid, I received another bill for £154 and queried it, they said the original bill was calculated incorrectly. I asked for either a refund and credit note for original and I would pay the new amount OR an invoice for just the difference (make sense?) they keep sending me a bill for £154 saying I owe £32.
Send me a bill for the correct amount. I have even taken this up with HMRC who advise I am correct.”
“Very Agressive company. Theatening and lots of late fees, handling fees, interest etc. However dont seem to care that the person they were charging we NOT the customer and the delivery was made in error. Dont let this company intimidate you. All bark, don't have the law on their side to be able to bite. UPS should be embarassed to have this company representing and damaging their brand.”
“Controlaccount are a scam and will attempt to steal your money. Avoid and others have said across on social media they have received the same sort of vile disgusting behaviour. I just spoke to #controlaccount and I have asked for evidence as there was no communication from UPS at the point of delivery for a payment ? What is this ? I did not get no email, phone call and/or text message from UPS ! It's all a scam in order for you to pay. Be cautious. This is extremely suspicious.”
