"I ordered what I thought were lab grown diamond studs from Agape Diamonds. After reviewing the receipt, which indicated that the earrings were set with \"simulated diamonds,\u201d I immediately (same day), requested a cancellation of this order in writing. I had originally intended to purchase earrings featuring \"lab-grown diamonds.\" Unsure of the meaning of \"simulated,\" I researched it and found that it typically refers to moissanite or cubic zirconia, neither of which I was willing to purchase at the price of $493. Retail prices for such stones are generally around $50, based on my research across various websites. The website is very misleading and confusing. In one link they boast a 100% risk free shopping policy. It\u2019s not until you go to a completely different tab that you find the fine print. I have since learned, after researching, that the internet is loaded with complaints about this company, which are all the same as my experience. \r\nDespite my clear cancellation request, I received an immediate response from Agape customer service discouraging me from canceling the order. I persisted with my request, only to receive an email the following day indicating that the earrings had been shipped, completely disregarding my cancellation. I immediately reached out again to customer service to find out how to start a return for a refund and they accused me of cutting off a security tag from the earrings. At no time did I cut anything off of these earrings! Most likely it fell out of the box when I opened it. It\u2019s less than an inch in size and no more significant than a piece of tape. I believe that my rights as a consumer have been violated. \r\nUpon realizing that Agape was unwilling to refund my money and allow me to return the fake diamond earrings, I filed a dispute with my credit card company and Agape has not responded. When I have emailed them, they immediately respond to me. Agape was only willing to give me store credit for an exchange. I do not want this, as the underlying issue with the product will remain the same. I am requesting a full refund and return of the earrings, with the credit issued back to my original payment method. These are not sound business practices and I feel like I\u2019ve been scammed! BUYER BEWARE!!!!"
