One small downside - one of my landing measurements was 40cm short and the fitter had to cut a piece to attach to the main carpet to cover the gap. The joint is therefore very visible. Should the fitter have checked the measurement before cutting carpet to size? Your thoughts, please.”

On the joint - the measurements for this order were provided by yourself, so our fitter worked to those sizes. When the shortfall was spotted on site, he did his best to fit the extra piece as neatly as possible rather than delay the job.
For future orders, we're happy to arrange a professional measure if that's ever useful.
