When ordering the basket items were not shown as a matching finish to how the details are displayed, the website layout is also odd as suggested items show directly below but look within the details of the items your trying to view the details of via mobile device. Needs better development to work better as I have not had this issue with other pages. Also the nosing trim version for the internal in BSS finish was not available or even shown for both internal and external which makes no sense, then changed because of this problem to the other finish you had and then all of it was in the basket for processing. I then went into the basket but when reviewing the details were not the same as on the main page they were simplified missing some of the finish information. Maybe an issue with his the page displays on mobile format. What was further frustrating was that it would be obvious to someone processing/picking the order that they should be matching (4 internal & 4 external stair nosings) and a simple call to the customer to confirm would have saved a lot of problems. I was told a collection could be arranged on the phone and the fastest was would be to re-order the other finish. I then to save time ordered the correct items separately and asked that upon delivery you collect the incorrect ones, I was ignored. Then when I emailed after the delivery about the issue it took 2 weeks to get 2 email responses and they did not answer all the questions I had listed either. Now I have given up with trying to return the items because I don’t have a national rate to long parcel delivery’s so the return is the same cost as the item. I also could have been told about returning items and the cheapest way to do it, ideally using your rates or at least in my situation you subsidise it. All in all very frustrating process even the product is great that I have.

Unfortunately, without prior clarification from you, there was no way for us to know that your order was not placed as intended. Once the issue was raised, we advised you of the quickest way to obtain the alternative products you required, and the replacement items were dispatched promptly without delay. With regard to your return, our returns procedure is fully transparent and publicly available on our website; the instructions provided to you followed this protocol. As you will appreciate, both delivery and returns for long parcels are costly, and we are bound by courier charges that unfortunately we do not control. Although we regret that you were unhappy with the overall experience, the issue ultimately stemmed from the incorrect items being selected during checkout. We do hope you understand that we acted correctly and within policy throughout, while still doing our best to help resolve the situation for you as swiftly as possible.
