“Overall they work better than any other stud I have used. They seem to not wear down at all over many many walks though the stream and over tons of stone. Caution, you can over tighten them easily and sink them to far into you boot. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is I wish the had a wider flange which would help keep them from going to deep into the boot.”

“I have not used the Grip Studs in the field yet, but I am traveing to New Zealand soon for a fly fishing trip so I'm sure I'll get pleanty of use out of them. I found them easy to install when using a cordless screw driver as opposed to the hand tool, it was difficult to put pressure and turn at the same time. The cordless driver was very easy, you just have to make sure not to go too fast and over drive the stud into the sole.”

“i called the guys at grip studs and they helped me to determine what stud to use for my boots, so now after getting another set of studs i think i will be ready for the coming winter. they were great to work with and i would definitely use them again and their studs”

“Initially purchased 3100A studs for felt sole wading boots. Sent an email to Grip Studs to verifiy the application and was informed the 1100 studs were best for felt soles. The order was held and 1100 studs were substitiuted. Great customer service.”

“Work great on my felt bottom wading boots. Felt soles with grip studs are the safest thing I’ve used for wading slick bottom streams.”

“I was able to get great advice on which studs would work best with my fishing boots. Once I put them into my soles, which was really easy with the included wrench, my boots went from almost unusable to being really stable. No more slipping and falling. Thank you Grip Studs.”

“I recently ordered Grip Studs for a pair of the new 2024 Simms G3 boots. I had a question about the correct size. Bryan got back to me right away and after a few pictures and emails we were able to determine the coreect size for the new boots. Bryan even sent a pic back with markings for the proper placement of the studs on my boots. Really pleased with the high level of customer service.”

“The grip struds arrived yesterday (3/5). 1) The woman I spoke with on the phone was extremely helpful. She explained everything very clearly and addressed all of my concerns. I couldn't have asked for a more helpfull person to talk with about your product. 2) Besides ordering the studs, we had a nice conversation about how the man from troutbitten who using the studs, which was also very helpfull in selecting which set to order. Although my wading boots have not arrived yet, after talking with her I'm sure your studs will be perfect. Just an update - the wading boots arrived today and I installed the studs. The entire process from ordering the studs to the installation of them could not have been any easier. Thank you so much for a great product.”
