“These cases are extremely well made and do a wonderful job protecting beloved instruments for storage or during transit. The fact that they are well insulated means guiitars that go into the case in tune generally emerge in tune: swings in temperature and humidity outside the case seem to not affect the atmosphere captured within. I was so pleased with one that I acquired a little while ago that I have been slowly replacing various cases guitars came in with these wonderful cases from Hiscox. “I've tried many options for my uilleann pipes, from the original semi rigid case the pipes came with to modified viola cases. This is simply the best option and it's a fair price. It's sturdy and it compresses the instrument slightly, enough to keep it in place to carry it by hand or as a backpack. It's easy to clean too.”

Went for the ivory version after reading about the research that says it keeps the guitar significantly cooler in hot temperatures than the black version.
