I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at your dealership on Leek Road, Stoke-on-Trent. I visited your dealership with the intention of purchasing a Dacia Duster. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a member of your sales team who presented me with information regarding a specific orange Dacia Duster Prestige with automatic transmission. I was informed that this vehicle was expected to arrive at your dealership the same week. However, after a week had passed, I had not received any communication from your dealership. When I returned to inquire about the status of my order, I was met with evasive responses and ultimately informed that the vehicle did not arrived and of course was not available. I was told to wait for them to seek informations, in a very short time hearing a conversation between the staff that the car actually is not even in Stoke on Trent, different city, not close to this dealership, and despite my repeated requests for transparency and honesty, I was provided with misleading information regarding the availability of the vehicle. Furthermore, when I questioned the same person about practices regarding the technical inspection of used vehicles, I was treated with a cold voice, even small actions like "okay, good-bye but with a turned back to me" that shows the level of respect and education towards customers. It is important to note that this is not an isolated incident. I have heard similar negative experiences from friends who have purchased vehicles from your dealership, including instances of misleading information and poor after-sales service. I believe that it is essential for your dealership to prioritize honesty, transparency, and customer satisfaction. I urge you to take steps to address the issues raised in this complaint and to ensure that your sales team is adequately trained to provide accurate and helpful information to customers. We are humans, we all have bad and or good days, I wish no one to be suspended or even left without their job, I will not give names even though I have them, but these matters requires supervision on a different level.

Beware of buying a used vehicle from Holdcroft, as a retailer myself I thought I had ticked all the boxes. I purchased a 2015 Mitsubishi L200 with 42k miles and full service history for £14500, I am not local to Holdcroft and the L200 was delivered to my home address. On delivery the MOT was just about to run out which was surprising as this should have been picked up before the vehicle was sent to me, I called the salesperson and he told me to take the vehicle to my local Mitsubishi dealership for an MOT and Holdcroft would pay any costs, my local Mitsubishi dealership also picked up on a problem with the clutch…. at this time I also asked for the paperwork for the warranty as I had been told by the service manager that the vehicle came with 6000 miles or 6 months whichever came first. The salesperson's response was don’t worry your warranty is through us (Holdcroft) and we will sort any problems out. I pestered the salesperson for warranty paperwork over the coming weeks and never received anything from Holdcroft. After owning the L200 for 4 months and covering only 4500 miles the engine failed, on inspection the crankshaft snapped…I contacted Holdcroft immediately and was told the vehicle only came with 3 months warranty ! Obviously I am taking this further although the service I have received from Holdcroft has been shocking – from the dealer principle to the sales team. I have not received the service you would expect from a main dealership, I have received back street garage service – BEWARE of the HOLDCROFT GROUP of companies. NOT TO BE TRUSTED or RELIED UPON.

BEWARE - Don't get scammed I booked online a service and MOT for £167. On checking-in the car they asked me to sign a form. The cost stated was £167 so I assumed the MOT was included. On completion I was told it did not include the MOT. I took it up with the Service Manager who basically blamed me for signing the form and basically accused me of lying. You can go online and book the same price today. Finally, I got the MOT without any extra charge, but I had to take more leave from work. I have not received an apology, in fact, staff referred to it as a "free" MOT. My mother is looking for a new car, it won't be from Holdcroft.
