Replaced my n70 hilux ARB bash plates for Kaon diff drop bash plates. My suggestions are below 1) For N70 Hilux kaon does not make rated recovery points. Had to use arb recovery point so plate had to be cut. 2) The slots cut into the front plate are good for air flow. Not so great for muddy or water crossings. Made a cover that fits on the rivnuts and can be removed. 3) would love to see a bit less of gap between the plate and the dropped diff for more clerance. Otherwise great plates, easy to remove and change oil unlike arb which are a mission

Great product easy to fit and works well

A great product, engineered to suit the vehicle perfectly. The recovery points sit up close to the chassis out of the way. Installation was easy enough without raising the vehicle, lying on my back on the garage floor. Took about an hour, 40 minutes for the first and 20 minutes for the second after I'd mastered the "nut on a wire". A dummy run yesterday attaching the soft shackles and bridle went smoothly. I highly recommend the Kaon quality.

Removal tool didn't work ended stripping the plug out completely. The new plug is good though from what I can see

"Perfect for keeping the fire extinguisher handy but still let's you access under the seat and doesn't affect your Passengers sitting position. This is the only kaon product that has been slightly fiddly to fit just lining it all up, but that's just part of mounting to the factory holes and the tight fit getting everything lined up and in. I did miss a video guide as so much kaon gear has that which is just peace of mind but it's still an easy install for one person. quality gear as always !"
