“After a lot of internet searching I decided I would really like a Matara extruded aluminium work bench and was very excited to order it. I had a few questions/issues with the delivery cost / collection, but ultimately the customer services team were excellent and went out of their way. The construction of the bench didn't go completely smoothly either, but I was very pleased with the willingness and level of effort Matara went to to resolve the problems I had. The work bench is brilliant, I am very pleased. I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone on the team for the assistance and help they provided. I would have no problems ordering from you again, and would definitely recommend for anyone else wanting to order from Matara. I would also like to say, the wrapping and protection on the parcels was amazing, I've never seen anything so good before (it took me 20 minutes to get into each package) I just need to get a nice worktop on it (ordered frame only)”

“We received no order confirmation and it's taken several e-mails for us to find out that our order will be two weeks late. Better communication and a solution to this problem would have resulted in a better rating. Right now we are letting a customer down and cannot tell them when we can deliver to them.”

“Poor customer service … no communication from sales team. Products most of the time are good but a bit hit and miss with protective wrapping etc and the metal swarf not being cleaned out of the profile before wrapping. They have one guy Phil Perkins who is excellent and should be running the company … he’s the only reason I stay with Matara.”

“Even the smallest of orders discussed in detail, verified, and executed perfectly, with a single occasion of minor courier damage (on our first order years ago) also resolved by no fuss exact replacement sent immediately without any questioning, reluctancy, reservation, or even the hassle of returning a damaged piece. Website clear and informative, CAD files & datasheets available, quality materials and accessories, pro.”

“I'm building a campervan and really wanted to find a supplier of aluminium extrusion to match a lot of US based 80/20 builds found on social media. I placed a small order for accessories, so perhaps I am an unusual customer type and not the typical target market for Matara. I struggled to organise a courier (Royal Mail) with multiple delays and eventually received an incomplete order.”
