I have bought three MHD watches and am very pleased with each one. Designs have just got better and better. The original, with a Seiko movement, went wrong after a few years; I returned it to Matthew and he fixed it, promptly, free of charge. You can't get better customer service than that. The next two - a Type 1 and a Streamliner - have the Miyota mechanism which keeps excellent time and has been problem-free. And I think they're two of the best-looking watch designs ever made.

Don`t know about their watches but unsolicited email are annoying.

I bought my first MHD watch in 2018 it was an SQ1. When I discovered its design I immediately thought of popular sports cars from the 60s and 70s like the Ford Capri, the Toyota Celica or the Alpine berlinette. Its sleek design, its colors, its raw materials, its black and red leather strap, all remind me of these fast, light and no-frills cars. Last year I bought a second watch: a type 3. It has a lot of class, while keeping a mechanical side to its design. The screw assemblies are visible, the work of the material too, nothing is hidden or sanitized, it is one of the most beautiful watches I have seen. These quality watches, produced in small series and at an affordable price, are exactly what I'm looking for. Congratulations for this great job!

I've purchased two MHD watches so far and I have been really pleased with the quality and design of them. Being into cars, motorsport and watches, these tick all the boxes! Matthew is also an incredible designer and I have had the privilege to see his work first hand, his eye for merging motoring themed inspiration into his watches is something else and I am looking forward to even more great designs on the way.

I've had my MHD watch for two and a half years. Never really been much of a "watch head" but received mine as a gift for a significant birthday gift. I flaunt it with pride. It's a most handsome thing designed by a very talented man.

I met Matthew at the Silverstone Classic one year and instantly liked his range of watches and friendly, personal service. His designs are great and stand out from the crowd with their level of detail. I purchased a lovely SA2 back then and currently have on pre-order the new SC which I can’t wait to take delivery of. Maybe like me, you don’t like mainstream high street watch brands…well MHD make beautifully designed watches at a competitive price in limited numbers. So you’ll always have that unusual piece on your wrist, with a nice little back story to its heritage. Buy with confidence.

I own four MHD watches. The detailing on the sides of the watch is unusual and a lot of thought has gone into the design. The low production numbers also adds appeal for me.

I now have 3 of Matthew's excellent watches, an AGT, a Type 2 and a Streamliner. I have been an admirer of watches, especially automatic watches, for many years. I first saw the AGT, when I met Matthew at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in 2019, I was impressed by the style, construction and general feel of his watches, and couldn't resist one! I have always found Matthew to be helpful and approachable and have followed his design processes since then. His unique designs make a refreshing change to the "norm", and I would recommend them to anyone who likes "style" in their watches, whether or not they are automotive enthusiasts. I really appreciate his watches!

Super friendly service, good value for the quality of the watch and, most importantly…. the uniqueness. Always a conversation starter with fellow enthusiasts. Fantastic watches, I have two in my collection now!

Cases on the watches are well executed and the leather straps are good quality. Customer service is good. I've bought two watches and both were exactly as advertised and I have enjoyed them. As time has gone on, I find myself wearing them less, since while the dials' designs are great, they are a little harder to read and also the lack of lume on the indices makes them less useful in low light. My desire to wear the watches is also impacted by the fact that as I got more deeply into watches, I realized that while Miyota is a solid workhorse of a movement, at the prices being charged, I could have gotten a higher quality Sellita movement with a similar or higher quality case. Prices have also lowered considerably vs. when I bought the watches, for the same movements, which doesn't make me feel great about my purchase - goes to the value for money point. Just knowing that the movement is OK, but not great, impacts how I view/bond with the watch and I find myself gravitating towards higher quality movements. None of this is the brand's fault - I still think the design of the cases and dials from an aesthetic standpoint are really good (even if a little hard to read). It feels like from a branding standpoint, you've made the decision to cater to the car enthusiast crowd at a lower price point and by shifting to quartz movements - which is probably a smart choice for you from a revenue standpoint. I was an early fan and supporter of this brand, and I still really like your designs, but I am primarily a watch enthusiast and it feels like the decisions you've made are smart from a mass appeal perspective, but have caused me to become more interested in other brands. The watches I bought were at the $800 and $1200 price points - take a look at what Pitzmann (a brand new Korean microbrand), and Monta are offering for similar money. Really too bad, cause I'd buy another watch in a heartbeat if your philsophy/value proposition changed. Also, you have not presence on YouTube that I have found among the popular VLOGs - don't know if you are trying to get you products talked about there or not, but I find the complete lack of presence there strange. Long review is to give you honest feedback and perspective to consider as you decide on the direction of your company. You've got great designs that I think should be getting more attention - but I also think you need to start caring more about horology and value for money if you want to appeal to the watch enthusiast market. Hope this perspective is helpful to you in shaping the direction of your business! Good luck with your company.

MHD watches design unique and individual time pieces with automotive inspiration for the enthusiast... but they do much more than that. MHD watches treat every customer as an individual, they know their customers and what they expect, they provide exceptional and personal experiences with every purchase and the opportunity to meet the creator (Matthew) and sit down to talk about future products or just cars. It's a great company with wonderful values. Fair pricing and excellent service.

Being both a car & a watch enthusiast, finding MHD watches felt like a perfect match. The car inspired designs and the excellent quality of the watches has made me a repeat customer of these great value for money watches. The purchase process is always painless, with Matthew always ensuring that I’m up to date with delivery schedules. Matthew’s enthusiasm & passion for what he’s doing with MHD shines through all communication with him. If you love watches and want to support a British brand, I’d highly recommend an MHD

Funny how one becomes “attached “ to a particular watch. With a wide selection to choose from I still come back to my MHD. In fact because of this curious attraction I bought another identical piece just to make sure of continuity. Why? Style, weight, legibility and of course price. Can’t wait for my Daily Driver.

I have bought 2 of Matthew's watches so far, I'm very pleased with them and wear them every day, I especially like the design connection to Morgan cars and the classic car theme on the watch.

Having purchased five watches from MHD Watches l am amazed to the design and attention the exquisite craftmanship and quintissential styling pointers, especially the 'Streamliner' range. Strangers remark on the apperance of the watches. Upon placing orders if a design is immediately availiable it will arrive within the stated times and progress of its carriage is updated. Some limited runs may be placed on MHD Watches backorder system. This again, keeps you abreast of delivery dates.

Think I was one of the early purchasers. Wanted to give my children something that would last. Purchase very smooth. Thought I would then have a watch for personal use. Liked the way you could talk to the main man throughout the buying purchase.
