“Coffee worth the effort. I first tasted MSC at The Coorie on the Coast, a delightful cafe/hotel in Limekilns, on the banks of the Forth. I bought a bag put it into my coffee maker, and failed to get anywhere near the previous experience. It's me (and my machine) not the coffee. I'm experimenting with different grind sizes and strengths, but I WILL get there! I know how good the coffee should taste, and I won't let the machine beat me!”

“We have had a subscription with Modern Standard Coffe for over 2 years now and love the fact that we can have coffee beans delivered to our door. We chose the Roaster's Choice and have enjoyed the variety of coffee we have had. We've never had one we didn't enjoy. It's great not having to hunt around the supermarkets for coffee beans when our supply is low.”

“Having bought various coffee beans, mainly from South America, Modern Standard offer, in my view, excellent mild roasted beans. Much coffee in UK is over roasted so some of the finer notes are damaged and not present. Still, if that’s what some like then fine. Not for me though. Modern Standard also sell their beans at reasonable prices even though coffee prices globally have shot up.”
