“My husband was disabled so I approached yourselves for an eye test and had my eyes tested at the same time. The optician was very pleasant but the price of my glasses were very high. I questioned it at the time but out of desperation 'went' with the flow'. It is only now that I have time to scrutinise the bill that I noticed that there was a Care Plus Card charge of £35 added onto the bill??? The cocoa mint spectacle frame plus lenses appears to exceed the cost elsewhere. The other glasses also appear to be overpriced??”

“I am disappointed that follow up contact is so infrequent. For example since receipt of my glasses over a year ago nobody has visited me to ensure they are a comfortable and safe fit. In view of my age (92) when deteriorating eye problems are more likely I believe contact should be more frequent than annually and is more to do with the renewal of my insurance than the condition of my eyesight.”
