Hello, I have sprayed the product and done about 3 coats on the sofa however when doing a spill test.. the water still seeps in. So I am unsure if it's protecting the couch in any way?

Hi Parshana. I am sorry to hear that you have not been happy with protectME and we do offer a 100% money back guarantee. Please note that our product has been developed to repel liquid and stains but is not a waterproofer as such. If the material is tight weave or the fibres are close together, it can cause a waterproofing effect as protectME coats each individual fibre and sends out little hairs. These little hairs connect and hence why water can slide off if not exposed to long periods. If the material is loose weave or the fibres are far apart, then, as protectME is breathable, some water can escape through the fibres. ProtectME was developed this way so the look, feel and smell of the fabric does not change. Once the material fibres are protected, it will make the material much easier to clean as the dirt won't be able to penetrate the fibres. Any off the shelf spot treatment can be used to help lift any stubborn marks without having to reapply the coating and you can also steam clean the material as protectME can withstand temps up to 250 degrees celsius. Having said that, is it ok i ask you a few questions? Can I ask what material your couch is and how many seater is it? How much product did you use? How many coats did you apply? Did you treat the whole couch? (Back, sides, both sides of the backing cushions and both sides of the seated cushions?) Do you have a photo you can share? We usually recommend applying 100ml of protectME per m2 of fabric for most fabrics per coat. Please note that some fabrics will require a second coat — usually thicker/more absorbent fabrics such as rugs, linen, cotton or loose weave fabrics. This second coat can be applied within 30 mins from the first with another 100ml per M2. Based on this ratio, our 750ml bottle will cover about 7.5m2 of fabric and our 5 litre container will cover 50m2 of fabric. Just for reference, If you were to treat a standard 3 seater couch and you were to treat the whole couch, we would normally recommend a 2L big job pack with the battery sprayer for one coat. Suprised me by actually working. My son spilt yoghurt on the couch and normally it would rub in but to my complete suprise it wiped off without a trace. Genuinely impressed

Purchased 3 weeks ago and am still yet to receive it. Update: there was an issue with the post damaging the package so I thankfully received a new order. Have used it already and so far so good on our new couches :)

Hello - I got the battery operated spray gun it didn’t work. I was shipped a replacement promptly. However, the replacement gun doesn’t work too. I am now sitting with $250 bottle not yet able to protect the fabric ! Do not buy their battery spray gun !

Hi Singh. Again I am so sorry that this has happened. This is very strange and never happens where two sprayers are sent that are both faulty. Can you please double check the orientation on the batteries. I have sent you an email with a picture of how the batteries need to be inserted to make sure the sprayer runs as it should. If the batteries are not inserted correctly, the sprayer can still turn on but it will not draw liquid from the bottle. I hope to hear back from you soon. Thanks Rachel

These products are easy to use, don't have a nasty toxic chemical smell and do exactly what they claim. Customer service was excellent

I still haven't got my item yet. It was returned to sender because it was damaged during delivery. I sent an enquiry and still haven't received any response. Can you please contact me asap.

Hi EoJin. Again I do apologise for the delay in getting your order to you. Unfortunately, once a parcel leaves our packing company, postal issues can sometimes happen and this then becomes out of our control. I had sent you an email this morning explaining i had spoken with Aus post re your parcel and they had infact asked for it be retuned to sender as it had been damaged in transit. I had spoken with our packing company and they have not received your returned parcel as yet. I am sorry that this has happened but I am happy to organise for a free replacement to be sent out to you or a refund issued if you would prefer.
