"Äike is definitely the best normal scooter there is only problem you might have is the price.

For the same price you could get a scooter that goes even 80km/h+ with suspension bigger battery etc but äike has something that very few scooter have.

And that is built quality like holy sh.....ttt this thing is durable.
Im now 108kg (was 115kg before äike xD ) and i ride this thing places where normal scooters would crumble like wet sand example very bumpy ice roads, hills, small jumps äike keeps it together like a dream now with over 1000km and not even a single screw has gone loose.
Also i fell once pretty roughly and äike survived better than me äike just got some scratches :D
damm those slippery wet wooden bridges >:( :D

The 48v1000w motor keeps you going even on some steep hills, with my weight + child bike trailer (12kg) + 17kg boy attached äike has enough power to climb all us up without my help unlike some other scooters (like augment that poop dosent even move us one meter on winters :D )

battery is also great with 600Wh:ish with all of us toghter get 25km of range with 2-5cm of snow in degree -15 celcius

Äike has some other good things but you probably know these
type c charging
weatherproof
tubeless 10´´ tires
very sleek looking scooter
24h gps tracking
etc

definitely considering another äike for my wife so we can throw augment out of the Window :D
(not literally throwing mmmmmmmmmmaybe xD )"

"Äike is not your average plastic toy e-scooter. It's more like a Volvo - large, smooth, heavy and mature. It doesn't care if it goes through rain, snow or a small bog - it just does best what it's meant for without any bells and whistles. Love the minimalist, yet functional design. And the auto-brake feature, which starts regenerative braking when the throttle is released. Too bad it doesn't work below freezing. Though it still kicks in after a while when the batteries warm up. Being an avid winter cyclist I was utterly surprised how safe I felt on Äike compared with a bicycle in the winter. The center of mass is much lower and getting off the scooter in a dangerous situation is much easier than from a bicycle. Awesome that the batteries can be taken out to charge because carrying this beast is a decent workout. Overall though the premium ride experience compensates for all the tiny shortcomings. "

"Clean looking and very nice to drive. Good acceleration and hill climb performance. Mobile App makes it secure and comfortable to use."
