About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“Our eldest daughter developed baby trich just after turning two years old. We would find balls of hair in her hand and almost always discover a ball or two in her bed in the morning, after a night's sleep. We believe the trich was a settling mechanism for her, as she did not have a favourite soft toy or comforter. She would suck her fingers on one hand, while the other hand would play with her hair. We tried a number of things to try and encourage her to stop, but the difficult time to deal with was nighttime, when she would pull her hair whilst half asleep. It was a stressful and upsetting period as parents. However, we discovered scratchsleeves and introduced them at sleep time. The physical barrier that the sleeves provided solved the problem at night and nap time. I don't know where we would be without them. We could not recommend them highly enough. Our second daughter also started showing a tendency for playing and pulling her hair, at around one and half years old. We were able to introduce scratchsleeves straight away. Both children now seem to have lost their tendency to go for their hair. However, now five and three years old, up until just recently, the girls have still been wearing their sleeves at night, as it was part of their routine and they were happy to do so. However, just last week, we stopped using them and so far so good. Thank you for a wonderful product.”

“The perfect, comfortable garment to provide stress free fun for a child with eczema. Our son wears sleeves wether he is in the bath, painting, playing or sleeping as they are so comfortable and not restrictive.”

“Over the last few months I have had a number of items custom made, as my little one's hands are quite large (classic scratchsleeves, wraparound scratchsleeves and PJ tops). Although it takes longer than ordering standard items, they proved to be a great fit and I think that I'd like to order a few more if that's possible! I have now ordered many things from Scratchsleeves (both off-the-shelf and custom requests) and overall I think that both the products and the service are second to none! In particular Tess & Jo are Excellent! Thanks guys! Xx”

“I have bought a number of items from the scratch sleeves range over the last 2 years - it really is a miracle product for my son who suffers with eczema over his whole body. The mitts are soft against his skin when he is trying to scratch so stops damage to his skin. I have recommended these products to others and will continue to do so - thank you scratch sleeves!!”

“I had been looking for something suitable for my baby with eczema which started at 3 months old. Regular mitts weren't effective as she always managed to get them off. The scratch sleeves are fantastic as they stay on & she's not able to damage her skin. Great service, items are always delivered quickly. Would highly recommended.”

“Our baby boy suffers with eczema all over his torso and neck and given any opportunity would scratch it, often making himself bleed in the process. We got to a point where mitts would no longer stay on overnight and that’s when we found scratchsleeves. He has a much more comfortable nights sleep as he no longer hurts himself and during a sting in hospital after abdominal surgery when he couldn’t wear a vest, the scratch sleeves made sure his eczema didn’t cause him any further stress. So easy to use, and super fast delivery. Really can’t fault them.”

“My three year old really struggles to control herself from scratching at night due to eczema, and has often woken herself up having scratched open quite extensive cuts in her sleep. It is difficult to get this under control, but the scratch sleeves are so good at helping her manage when she is asleep. I really don't know where we would be without them.”

“Fabulous online shop; good customer service with easy returns. Most importantly, the products are great for children with eczema and are affordable. (Eczema clothing sites are usually too expensive for us) The all in-one PJ's are very comfortable and help to reduce scratching. My 11yr old still likes them.”

“Absolutely love scratch sleeves, my daughter has been wearing them since she was 6 months old and it’s really helped her skin by preventing night scratching, the pjs are great too as she likes to rub her feet together, her skin would be in such a worst state without them. Highly recommend !”

“Fabulous product. The pyjamas we bought were a God send when our little ones eczema flared up. We all slept better, and the reassurance that tiddler couldn't easily scratch and damage his skin further was great. They helped greatly during a very difficult time until we found the trigger to the eczema. I would recommend scratchsleeves products without hesitation.”

“I bought these for my daughter who suffers from atopic eczema and also tends to rub her face when she’s tired too. These have been absolutely amazing and such a life saver. The integrated mitts on sleepsuits were no match for her Houdini hands but now she can have a decent nights sleep and nap without waking herself (and us!) from scratching. Can’t recommend scratch sleeves enough.”
