About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“My 2 year old son has eczema and used to wake up many times each night crying in discomfort and scratching himself furiously. When I started putting him in scratchsleeves Pj tops, there was an immediate improvement in his level of comfort. I was genuinely shocked by how much better he sleeps in scratchsleeves so I bought a few more Pj tops ! He still tries to scratch himself but not as much as he used to and the lovely soft material and silk paws of the top seem to soothe him. When it’s close to bedtime he tells us that he wants to wear the scratchsleeves PJs because he knows they help him sleep better.”

“This was just what I was looking for! I have a little girl (almost 3) who sucks her thumb at bedtime. So much so that she was causing them to become very sore. I had tried plasters and thumbsies - both of which she would fall asleep with on but then take off if she woke during the night. With these, the first night she was a bit angry as she couldn’t take it off (as I put it on beneath her short sleeve pyjama top) but then second, third night onwards she became used to it and now happily wears them. She now brings her “special sleeves” to me to put on her before bed. Here’s hoping we finally nip the thumb sucking in the bud ??”

“Got one size too big (stick to babies actual size) but has my bubba sleeping a LOT better and skin healing. Routine is water wash, junior oilatum massage, scratch sleeves, swaddle, massage again, sleep. He is now 13 months and has been sleeping from 8.30pm to 6am waking up only once because he's either cold or thirsty for the last two weeks. Finally, mummy's tired body is recuperating!!”

“Great quality scratch sleeves, arrived in good time. Have really helped give my baby's eczema a chance to heal. Sizing is a little bigger than advertised but I put them on under my babies sleep suit to stop them coming off and just means they will last longer. Will def recommend.”

“Can’t recommend this company enough. We’ve been using scratchsleeves for years and actually don’t know how we’d cope without them. Super fast dispatch and delivery on orders, mostly next day. Any issues I’ve had I’ve contacted by phone and had it rectified straight away. I’ll always go back and purchase, they’re worth their weight if you have a child with eczema. 5 stars every time!”

“We LOVE ScratchSleeves for our baby daughter's eczema. She has terrible itchy eczema on her cheeks and with the sleeves on she not only doesn't scratch, but rubbing with the silk means her hand just slides across instead of irritating the skin like sleepsuit mittens do. Also was very impressed by how quickly they arrived from the company! We have stocked up for the next size. I wish we had found this for our older child when she was a baby, too!”

“Excellent service from the Scratch sleeves team. I initially placed an order but forgot to add an item. They didn't charge me extra and I just paid the difference. The sleeves are amazing. We prefer the velcro cross front as it stays on through the night. Baby sleeps comfortable in them. All scratching has stopped and his skin has been able to heal. Fabric is soft with no hems and doesn't get hot at night, we use it over his all-in-one. Really happy, we bought 2 plus the pyjama set.”
