About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“Does what the are intended for, aided better sleep as baby wasn’t able to scratch through the night. Personally, I feel they are over priced and having to buy a few pairs meant they were a pricey expense all just to help my baby sleep a little better. They also haven’t washed very well so would need to be replaced regularly which isn’t ideal at the price they are. (Washed as directed)”

“Great solution for my daughter who has eczema on her face and rubs her face a lot to sleep. Only downside is that I wish the silk part is slightly longer to cover more of the hand. My daughter manages to move her thumb behind the seam and rubs her face.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we are pleased to hear the ScratchSleeves are helping your daughter. We have recently added a new product to our range, which has silk mitts which extend further up the arm than the other ScratchSleeves. Experience shows that this design helps to stop little one's reach the cotton with their thumbs and therefore use the silk mittens to scratch with as intended.

“I’m only giving 4 stars because i wish the hand part of the sleeve had a section that would fold over, freeing the hands so my child can eat and still pick things up when he needs. Also would love a button to make the sleeve more secure. At the moment i am using a pin so he doesn’t slip out of the sleeve so easily. But overall this has been a life saver for us and definitely helps at nighttime.”

“Great speedy service, and very well made product. Would love it if you could sell onesie-style pyjamas for older children, for those of us with children who have learning disabilities and need to be completely prevented from scratching.”

“Purchased 2x size age 13-14 pyjama tops for my daughter, one closed sleeve, one open. She prefers to be able to expose her hadns if she needs to, and despite being a very slim and small 12 year old, these were a little small on her. So purchased two more, open hands. They seem to help protect her skin from night scratching of her profoundly severe eczema..my only criticism is to please consider expanding your design range”

Thank you for your feedback. We are a small business and so cannot stock a huge range. Our products are carefully designed and a lot of thought has been put into selecting our range of products to ensure that we cater to as many needs as possible. However we are always open to suggestions.

“These scratch sleeves are good but I find that the silk mittens should be extended higher up the arm as I bought the 6-9 months and it is slightly big for my 7 month old so she still uses the cotton part of the sleeve to rub her face red and sore”

These do however start at 9-12 months, (We are planning to introduce a smaller size in a few months time) but please drop us an email and we can set up an order for a custom set, made with longer silk mitts for you.

“The striped pj top is fantastic. Stops my little one pulling her hair to self soothe at bed time. Only thing is I ordered a 3-4 for her age however the fit is big so I will size down next time. Other than that it's been a massive help.”

“Love the sleeves. They’re very soft for my child and they have helped her with her habit of twirling her hair out if she sucks her thumb. It has taken a few years but she’s finally stopped and actually likes wearing the sleeves until her hair grows properly. They always get delivered straight away and I think are very suitably priced.”

“Fantastic customer service, after receiving an incorrect order, they were prompt, helpful and courteous, a rarity these days. I bought them for my son who's been struggling with baby eczema on his face and they made an immediate difference and helped most of it to heal well. He has a stubborn patch on his cheek which he has managed to still rub with the seam of the mitts, we'll probably purchase the longer mitt one next to see if this helps. He wears them in the car and when he's tired as this is when he rubs his face and starts scratching. A really great product which I found whilst scrolling at 1am whilst trying to stop him scratching!!”

“We absolutely love ScratchSleeves and would seriously struggle without them. We use them for all car journeys and at nighttime to help reduce the damage when our Son scratches and rubs. The only issue we have found, now that he is older (2 years old), is he wears through them quite quickly and therefore every few months we are having to replace them.”

“I bought scratch sleeves for both of my young children who have severe eczema and scratch throughout the night. They both love wearing them, they feel and look nice and they drastically reduce the damage done to their skin through the night. Really good”

“I brought these for my daughter who is nearly 3 as she has a habit of pulling her hair when she’s settling herself to sleep to the extent where she’s pulling out clumps. It’s quite noticeable on one side. I cannot give 5 stars yet as I haven’t been able to see if they are going to work just yet as we are only a week in. I can say that I thought she was going to refuse to wear them as she is quite restricted now with her hands but she has surprisingly been okay with having them on. So fingers cross they do the job!”

“I find these pjs incredibly helpful with my little one. The most effective treatment of their eczema is to prevent them from scratching… without the ScratchSleeves pjs I found it very difficult to stop my lo from scratching whilst asleep. These, at least, protect the skin from being broken! We all sleep better when my child is wearing the ScratchSleeves pjs!”
