About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

We are constantly working on our product range. Please do get in touch and let us know how you and your little one get on with ScratchSleeves. We're always interested to hear your thoughts and ideas as every child is different and what works well for our children may need adjusting a little to help yours.

Scratch sleeves have made our lives so different for our little boy with his eczema. He can still use his hands through the sleeves, but can’t get them off like he used to with mittens. He still tries to scratch sometimes, but the silk ends mean that he doesn’t damage his skin.

Myself and my son have purchased a good few different items the PJs and the shrugs tea help only thing I can say about the shrugs The one that crosses over and has Velcro is very good the stay on one doesn't stay on they are always slipping off her shoulders so I have had to attach ribbon so she can tie it in the middle its a pity the one with Velcro only goes up to 4_5 one problem with all the items is the silk frays very easy and we have had to remove it on some items

We’ve found scratch sleeves particularly helpful for night sleeps over mits that typically fall off so easily during the night. This prevents our son from scratching and unfortunate bleeding too. Lovely material and we often wear under his sleep suit. The only reason I have given them 4 stars is we have found the sizing slightly off (mostly too big) so we often go a size down.

These work well, although they do have a tendency to slip off my daughter's shoulders a bit - still do the trick though!

I have been purchasing scratch sleeves for my eldest child who is now 2 years from age group 3-6 months. My newborn also has mild eczema so I bought 3-6 months again as the silk is all torn on the older ones. Generally great. Only criticism was the be seam was incomplete on a couple of the blue/white striped age 2-3 years sleeves. I subsequently repaired it myself to save having to return it. Otherwise, fabulous.

I ordered scratch sleeves for hair pulling in my almost 3 year old. I ordered 2-3 but they were a little large on her and she worked out how to get them off by shaking her arms so I probably needed a size below. She hated wearing them and sometimes just the thought would stop her for a short while but in our experience they didn't work as she pulled her hair all the time and she couldn't wear them 24/7. I think for night they would have been successful if she had been happy to wear them but they caused her too much upset. However delivery and service was second to none and u would recommend still as others seem to have had a lot of success.

Right from the start 4/5 months the scratch sleeves made a difference as it stopped our little one scratching her face raw, so the creams could work and her sleep (and ours) improved. Initially she wore them all the time but now it’s just nap and bedtime. They have lasted a lot of washes and stayed in good condition. Only downside is a short body on the pyjama top always requiring a vest to cover the gap Just an update to appreciate the response from Scratchsleeves and to reinforce how much difference the sleeves made to getting the eczema under control.

The product is the most useful on the market. I have said before though that the double layer could do with being brought up further. All of ours have torn on the arms around where the arm joins the hand. We have had to replace so many before they've even been grown out of.

Lovely quality. Bought scratch sleeves for my little girl who’s been pulling her hair, but unfortunately she was having none of it and screamed when the sleeves were on her.

Great friendly staff very generous Tracking number is provided after ordering. Always get package within 2 days except in the covid19 rush that needs advance ordering as mine came after a week. Just be wary of the sleeves not coming in standard size..comparing 4 6-9 mth old sleeves they were not all the same size but rather on the large size so it still came to my use

Good pyjamas. Just one problem, we found the sizes much to big.

My son is 2 years old. He was okay with the pants. However, he refused to dress in the clothes no matter how we tried. He said he hands were missing and he wants his hands back. It will be better if the hand mitten can be flapped over when it is not needed like those baby onesie

Item was dispatched really quickly. Item was received brand new and in good condition. Despite getting the next size up for my baby. The hand/gloves were quite tight or small. So I feel had I bought the smaller and appropriate age garment it would have been the same or still small! After a few washes in the washing machine to keep hygiene levels up. The seems where the mitts are have started to fray. Loose bits of threading/silk is coming away and possible for child to swallow or come away when sucked on as babies do. It does the job and nice concept however. UPDATE: scratch sleeves have just sent me s complimentary set of sleeves for my child. As well as the complimentary pair to give them another go this will give us a better rotation so we aren't using and abusing the single set we had - thus providing a bit more longevity for use. Their customer service is faultless and extremely friendly and helpful. After reading my review they were interested in helping me identify the problems that may have caused the early wear and tear such as washing instructions/detergents and wool and silk setting which is very helpful. The customer service, and troubleshooting was very good and again I genuinely appreciate the new pair of sleeves.

It's more of a 3.5 at the moment but previously a 5. The quality of goods is great and it really helps stop my daughter obliterate her skin. My current rating is because though when I first contacted because my sleeves were fraying at the top of the mits, they were replaced, the next time it happened to other ones I was told it must be "because my daughter is particularly rough with them", and referred to the synthetic silk which is more robust. 2 were replaced free but it was actually 4 I had sent photos of. I was told that if the synthetic ones were appropriate, I could purchase more at the site (not in line with their replacement guarantee). When I visited the website the synthetic ones were nowhere to be found. I couldn't be bothered with the rigmorol of contacting again so just ordered more of the usual. It's a shame as I am mostly pleased with them to be fair but my daughter is a toddler - she's not undertaking heavy duty work in them! The guarantee should stand regardless otherwise the durability issue should be addressed and the mits made even more resilient. Being told it was because of my child then only having 2 out of 4 replaced wasn't the best customer service in this instance

Been using scratch sleeves for around 6 months due my my child having severe facial eczema which she scratches and rubs til the point she is bleeding and it is very prone to infection. The sleeves are great for bedtime use but I do wish they did a version with flip mittens as I find they can be restrictive for a child who is crawling/walking. I can only use at night and on car journeys and they can be a hassle putting on and off between naps etc but they do the job once they are on!

Its great in that it stops our baby scratching he self to shreds because of her skin conditions. My only gripe is that it curls/folds up/twists at the back, so I do wonder whether it’s confortable as I find her led on it crumpled up.

Scratch sleeves - I love them, they’re really great however my daughter can easily pull them off of her arms to scratch herself... I’ve tried putting them under a baby vest and sleepsuit but still manages to get it off and her arms out!! Maybe if a button was put on to fasten it or string to tie then it may stay on throughout the night.
