About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“We have used these since our daughter was 6 months old ! It's a life saver really as she will scratch her face until it bleeds and still carry on. The usual cotton mittens are too rough for her delicate skin and the full silk sets are too expensive and she can undo a flip having a longer mitt means she doesn't use the rougher part to scratch as she's clever.”

“I have purchased scratch sleeves for my grandson as i find they really help when he has a flare upand wants to scratch, he is happy to wear them. I bought the latest pair as he has grown and find it really helpful that they go up to much bigger sizes. They are the only product i have found that accommodate toddler and older sizes, well made and quickly posted.”

“The sleeves are really good. Good quality and material too. My only issues is with the pink ones, they run so bad. I had previously purchased them and they were fine. Bought some new ones and washed with mixed colours as I normally would and they turned everything pink. That’s the only issue I have so be mindful of you’re buying the bright colours.”

“I purchased thru Amazon. The material isn’t very strong. My 2 year old son wears them at night and chewed a hole through it, despite my best efforts to prevent the chewing. Took only a few nights to chew through. I tried sewing it when I saw he was making progress to reinforce it. Now he can suck his thumb through the hole. Sigh.”

“We came across scratch sleeves when trying to figure out a solution for our toddler’s night time hair pulling that started as a self soothing tactic during a period of lots of travel and never went away. I was apprehensive to use them at first but she LOVES these pj tops. Calls them her mittens and immediately helped with the hair pulling. We have two shirts that we wash/wear nightly and they’re holding up incredibly well to constant wear and use”

“We have been using scratch sleeves since our little one was around 8 months old. It has massively helped during flare-ups, nap and bed times. It has been a game changer and has given us peace of mind knowing he won't wake up covered in scratches. ScratchSleeves customer service has also been very helpful when we have had any queries. “The perfect answer to a never ending problem - babies scratching themselves. Mittens used to be the only option but I felt sure something else MUST have been “invented” after all these years. After a bit of searching I found these and what a relief as it’s perfect for a small person who doesn’t know the damage they’re doing to themselves when they scratch. It looks great on him and no more worries about losing a mitten - as they’re attached! Stylish and lovely material and feel - I bought this as a gift but his parents are now going to invest in more!”
