About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“We have two pairs of scratch sleeves and use them for our 5 month old baby every time he goes to sleep. He has really bad eczema, and scratches constantly, especially when sleepy, and the scratch sleeves are the only way that we can be sure that he won't hurt himself when we aren't looking! Highly recommended!”

“These are lovely for general preventive measures, the child could get their fingers sneakily from underneath the stretchy fabric and over the satin but it still offers great coverage. Inserts might be a good addition to these that could make the mitts firm and then maybe applications for post surgery (tube pulling prevention etc)”

“Using scratch sleeves has been a game changer for our little girl. Gone are the nights where she's scratching away in her sleep and gone are the days with cuts on her head, face etc. We've just moved up to the Pyjamas and the quality is great. I'd recommend these to everyone”

“Lovely product and quick shipping.. lifesaver for my 7 month old who has eczema on his cheeks and needs to be protected from scratching himself in his sleep. He would pull off regular mittens in his sleep or would manage yo cause abrasions with the material.. but I can rest easy knowing he won’t hurt himself once he has his scratchsleeves on.. the silk mittens are perfect.”

“I’d never heard of ScratchSleeves before and was skeptics but desperately trying to find something to help my newborn with their itchy eczema and Cradle Cap, so I took the punt on two pairs and they’re fantastic. They’re so soft at the mittens my baby can’t dig any nails in to scratch! Eczema has improved dramatically as a result.”

“I measured wing span but still he could not open his hands with these on and was very distressed so I gave up after 1 night. Waste of £16 :(”

“I really love scratch sleeves theyve been an Absolute life saver for me. When my youngest was a baby she she had really bad eczema and craddle cap and she would scatch all night making. It worse, scratch sleeves stopped her itching and in turn helped heal her eczema as she wasn't spending all night itching. The sizes fitted well, i has two in rotation for washing and she wore them every night. I then brought a pj top for my 3yo when she showed signs of chicken pox. It came the next day and saved the day once again! Cannot recommend scratch sleeves enough”

“The scratchsleeves have been massively helpful in preventing my baby granddaughter from scratching the sore patches on her face and tummy. Ordinary scratch mitts are still rough enough to cause damage and easily slip off. The scratchsleeves stay on and the silk mitts are very gentle on the sore patches, allowing the skin to heal. Thanks, they are a brilliant invention.”

“Our little boy was admitted to hospital with eczema herpeticum when he was 2. The dermatologists there recommended scratchsleeves for him so we ordered some and have been ordering them ever since (hes now 5). He sleeps with them every night and it really helps to lessen the damage he does to his poor skin!”

“Excellent products. So pleased larger sizes are available, as they're so helpful for my older child who still suffers from eczema-related nighttime scratching. The colours are lovely, too. I wish for my child's sake they didn't need scratchsleeves, but I'm so thankful these exist - they make such a difference to our daily lives. Please make more colourful larger size options, for a colour-loving kid!”
