Sort: Carl Edwards 5 reviews Rated 1 out of 5 stars I don't like to badmouth companies, but... I don't like to badmouth companies, but in this case they deserve it. I ordered three barstools on a Friday, with delivery shown for the following Tuesday. Monday came and went with no message. So did Tuesday, so I contacted them. I got a cursory response from them saying something along the lines of "whoops, sorry, we had an unexpected problem and are waiting for fulfilment". I called them this morning to get the most disinterested receptionist/customer (dis)service lady who really wanted me to get out of her life. I was told things like, "you *should* get this by tomorrow" but I cannot guarantee it. I was then told it was in the warehouse as a priority and that all priority orders get despatched. I was told I'd get an email by 3pm. I was also told she'd put a flag on my order and would contact me if it didn't get despatched. Of course I didn't get an email and I didn't get contacted. I rang up and got the same person, who told me, "sorry, it's not going out today. But it should go out tomorrow." I told her that this was just another "may happen, may not happen" excuse and was told there were two options, cancel the order or wait and see. I told her that as her and her company had zero interest in providing customer service, I'd actually go and find someone else that could deliver on the promises made on their website. "so you want me to cancel your order?" said disinterested from Bristol. "yes, that's what I just said, isn't it?" was my reply. To which I got a terse, "ok that's cancelled and you'll see the money back in your account within a few days" and she hung up. Just to clarify, as of this moment, a few minutes after that call, I can visit their website and see the barstools I ordered still available with a message saying I can get these barstools tomorrow if I order now and choose next day delivery. The utter disdain and disinterest that this company showed would lead me to suggest that you steer well clear of them.

On assembling our stools we found them to be uncomfortable and the foot rest cut into the soles of my foot. After bringing it to the sellers attention they informed us as we had gone over 14 days we were not intitled to replacement chairs. We were not aware of the 14 day return rule on return's so due to reporting it on the 16th day we were informed we could not have replacement chairs.

BUYER BEWARE Ordered the Alessi Bar Stools deluxe x 4 @ £119.99 per stool. They sent the cheaper version at £44.99 per stool, and had even put a sticker over the label on the box stating deluxe model. I called up and they apologised but have still not refunded me. I have bought elsewhere but still have not got a refund. Can you believe the deluxe is not in stock anymore. Con merchants,

After purchasing three bar “Allegro-Black-Deluxe” bar stools we were unhappy with the product supplied. The leather was ripped on one stool and the other two stools where not the quality advertised. Stitching was not central, and the back was twisted on another. We contacted the company who asked for photos, we sent the photos and received an apology email and a return form on 22/01/2019. We were told that we would receive our refund within 10 working days. Despite chasing our money on three separate occasions we have still not received our refund current date 09/02/2019. Not a good experience and would avoid dealing with this company.
