“i used my EVL-12 D4 12" 2500 Watt Max Power Dual 4 Ohm Car Subwoofer for less then a month with my alpine 1,100w rms amp and i did give it a very good break in period and it still started popping and over heating im running between 800-950w rms. this sub is rated at 1,250w rms. i am very disappointed. Skar had such good reviews and recommendations. now i have to pay shipping to have it replaced i dont know if its even worth it if its just gonna do the same thing when i get the new one. i was happy when i first got it my spl went up from 134 to 138 after replacing my Rockford Fosgate P3 with the Skar EVL-12. but i was able to push the same amp and watts for the past 3 years on that p3 before it blew.”

“Products are nice and work well I purchase an amp subs and a wiring kit emailed the company about not receiving a free sticker with any of the items and I was just told ain't nothing they can do like oh well terrible customer service on their end”

“I Ordered and paid for a 800 watt/4 channel Amp. I received a 400 watt/4 channel Amp. When questioned, they said the 400 watt has a Max of 800 watt. Excuse me but there is a lesser cost for less wattage Amp on their site and This is Mis-Representation. They still claim it is the same. Well why is it not stated on the box like my receipt??? Skar has no comment about this but would offer a refund. Totally missed the point on false advertisement! Smh”

“I’m going to write a combo review here. I bought a refurbed amp off the Skar eBay store. It didn’t come with the pin connector to connect speakers or any screws to screw down the power, ground and remote wire. In anticipation of getting the amp I ordered a new Skar 10 inch sub. It all came the same day but I could not hook it up And I had a car show that weekend. Here it is 10 days after receiving my stuff I still have not received my missing parts. Talk about a bitter taste as this is my first Skar purchase. I had to reassemble my car (1973 VW Type 3) for the car show and now I will need to take the interior out to hook up the amp, wires are already run. I hate when I have things planned and they don’t go or when I have to wait on something. I would say the person who packed my amp had one job. Thanks for holding me up.”
