“This vape was recommended by a friend. The fact that it's all made in the UK and not China, is the reason I bought it. It's a nice size. The only negative is that the charge doesn't last long at all”

“Up until recently I would give these guys a 10/10 for the whole of their product , unfortunately the new refills that they’ve changed to only last a fraction of the time of their predecessors, the two coffee flavoured ones that I purchased had NO coffee flavour to them , just the original flavour which is the flavour I despise the most, so they are of no use. The addition of the new chargers that seem to charge better is very good. Sorry to the guys of SMOKO but I can only be honest”

“order the VAPE POD STARTER KIT BLACK BATTERY with a pack of 3 1.8 carts. This all works well, I was using the smaller pen type last year, Unless I received a faulty Battery in the starter kit I have found that on a day to day use the charge only lasts part of the day, my pen type from Smoko would last me about a week on a full charge.”

With regular use we would expect to charge the VAPE POD battery once a day, but of course how much the battery is used will impact how long it lasts on a single charge. “As a 40-a-day smoker, I wasn't expecting an overnight miracle. However, vaping is allowing me to very slowly reduce the daily number, but enough to recover the cost of the starter Kit in a couple of weeks. As a tip, I would suggest keeping your vaper handy but your ciggies out of arm's reach at least. I found myself habitually taking a ciggie out of the packet and lighting it up. Part of breaking the addicion is breaking the habit.”

Hi Allan, Thanks for the Vape review! It's great that our Vape Starter Kit has been able to help you slowly move away from tobacco! For some people it can be an overnight switch, but for others it can take a while to move over, but it is good to see you are enjoying the Vape refills enough that it is working for you (even if slowly). As you say, E-Cigarettes can be a great tool for getting off tobacco, but they can only go so far. However it sounds like the Vape refills are giving you the push to finally quit, so well done! “Whilst I really liked the e-cigarette and believe it could help me quit smoking, as a 60 a day smoker, I am constantly vaping and batteries only last very short time, yes I could buy more batteries and keep a charged one ready but I find when charging them so often,they lose power, may try the e-liquid with a longer lasting battery mod”

If you find you are vaping constantly then you may need a second battery to switch to when the first one runs out of charge for seamless vaping throughout the day. If the batteries aren't charging correctly this could be an issue with the connection between the USB and the e-cigarette battery, there is a trick which sometimes works to correct this, but you can always give us a call on 0800 772 0234 so we can make sure you've got everything you need and it is working as it should! A refill should have about 200 puffs (30 cigarettes worth of nicotine) before it's done as well. Hi Susan, All our tobacco flavours come in 2% (20mg) which is the strongest strength we are legally allowed to sell, and our other flavours are in 1.8% (18mg) which is slightly milder. If you want to get the strongest feeling though I would suggest getting the tobacco flavours first, and if that isn't enough if you cover an airhole that can also make it feel stronger. “I have been using for at least 5 years. Two packs would last me roughly 2/3 months, they only last one month now and I am not using them any differently. I am concerned they are not lasting as long as they used to.”

I had a quick look at your orders and my guess would be that your E-Cigarette battery needs to be replaced (as they do wear down after 3 months), and I can't see a new E-Cigarette battery on your account for the last few years. With old batteries issues like this can happen, and we always suggest getting a new battery every few months. “All flavors except menthol is min 1.8 strength and I would prefer something lighter in strength. There are many competitors providing a range of flavors for vapes in lighter strength so please of you can do the same. Great customer service and prompt response for questions asked is very good from Smoko”

The reason many of our flavours are set as 1.8% is as our Vape is designed to feel like a cigarette, with roughly the same amount of vapour produced as a cigarette would smoke, we needed the refills to have a fairly high amount of nicotine in to have the same hit as a cigarette. “The idea is brilliant. No mess, no burnt coils easy. And the vape battery last well. The downsize is the flavours. They just aren't strong enough. Ive tried 4 and they all were weak, to the point of being salty. Currently on mint, and it's more salty than minty. Enhance the flavours and the product is a 5 star winner.”
