“I ordered skis with Salamon Shift2 13 MN bindings that there were supposed to be immediately available on Dec 4, then heard nothing from Snowleader until eventually the expected date for delivery date was moved to Dec 16 in my account. I then checked again on Dec 16 as I had not received any delivery, only to realize that my the bindings had not even been mounted by that date. I contacted customer service without any response, but at least received the delivery around a week later. Yet, most importantly I order the Shift bindings with 13 MN (a DIN range of 6-13), however, the binding that were mounted are the 10 MN version, which has a lower DIN range. I intentionally ordered the higher DIN range as was noted in my order confirmation as well as on my delivery slip. I heard from many people that it's not great to use the binding at the upper limit of the DIN range. Also, the lower DIN range usually retails for at least 50 Euro less. I'm on the very upper end of the lower DIN range and I can use them within the lower DIN range, but I definitely prefer the higher DIN range for more intense trips. I immediately contacted customer service again via email, phone, chat - but Snowleader went dark entirely, not responding to anything. Ultimately, I reached someone via chat about a week later on Dec 30. I was told they would look into the issue and see if they can partly reimburse me for mounting the wrong binding, as it was too late for an exchange (I needed the skis the week after). The next day, I received an email stating that I while I did receive the wrong binding, they would not take any responsibility as my Din value would be within the possible range of the (wrong) binding mounted. This is beyond ridiculous - they acknowledged delivering the wrong product, but do not take any accountability. Overall, horrible customer service. Do not order with Snowleader if you care about receiving customer service replies or care about actually receiving what you have ordered. Simply criminal!”
“I made the mistake of ordering from this company that I had never heard of before, and after the disgusting experience I have had with them, I will never trust an "unknown" online shop ever again.
I sent a return to Snowleader around October. When I hadn't been refunded the money, I contacted them and they said they hadn't received the return and that I never created a return with them, and asked for proof of delivery. I sent a photo of the Evri returns slip, and the pdf returns label that I had downloaded from their website after creating the return on their portal. They then asked me for further proof of delivery (I am not sure what additional proof beyond the returns slip is ever given out for a return?). I feel like they were trying to catch me out or make me feel like I did something wrong. Anyway, they told me they hadn't received my return, and probably expected me to go away and accept my loss. I then contacted Evri, who confirmed that the return had indeed been received by Snowleader. I then sent Snowleader a screenshot of the email from Evri, saying this has been delivered, and if I can please now have my refund. This was around a month ago and they have completely ignore me since - despite their auto-reply saying "you will receive a response within 48 hours" and having followed up multiple times asking for my money back. I have been polite up until now, but this is absolutely unacceptable - at best, they are incredibly rude treating a customer so terribly; at worst, they are complete scammers who lied about not receiving my return and are ignoring my emails, now that I have provided undisputable proof they have received it. Conveniently, their phone number and online chat do not work either.
I will start by reporting them to Trading Standards, and will take it as far as I need to get my money back. Avoid these scammers like the plague.”
“I order a jacket in the end of september, it got "stuck" in the transport line as the as the statu remained the same for days so I contacted DPD and Snowleader to ask them to check what's wrong. DPD told me to contact Snowleader and that they did not know. Snowleader ignored all my messages, via email, their website and even social media so i cancelled the order hoping for a refund, however they wanted me to send the jacket back to them, the jacket that i never received. One month later the jacket is suddenly delivered at the DPD pick up point, i already told Snowleader that i did not want the jacket anymore, that i was forced to buy another one in the meantime and that i really need to get my money back ASAP since i cannot afford two winter jackets. I called them and finally talked to someone who would do their best to get my money refunded...but afterwards i got another email saying that i need to send the parcel back and that after its their warehouse it will take up to 14 days to refund me...I never had such an unfriendly and rude experience with a company, it feels like they're stealing my money and do not care about my financial problems that they caused. It so strange and horrible to have this happen, i don't want to be a victim here but this is way too expensive for me and it seems i will never get my money back with the way they are acting and ignoring me. I will report them as frauds because this is insane.”
“I ordered a jacket one month ago, it seemed to be stuck in the transport line somewhere so i send message to snowleader about this. They've ignored all my mails, messages on their site, instagram and facebook. I asked for a refund of course but till today the only message i receive is something like; once the item it back in our warehouse it will take 14 days for us to process it and to refund the money. Very very concerning and seems like I got scammed”
