“Marilyn Brown Do not buy from this company. Delivery is dreadful, and of course you are buying online. So if you wish to return an item it will cost you at least £100. After many phone calls and boken promises NOTHING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Now Christmas is over I am will be going through the ombudsman. Pick up was a disaster, sent a full van to pick up, only just managed to get it onboard, that was after two arranged pick ups that never happened.”

“SCAM - DO NOT USE. Delivered a bed different to the one I ordered and paid for. Said they would sent the correct bed yesterday and did not. Now saying will only send the correct bed if I pay an extra £30.”

“I ordered gas pistons for the bed but I haven't received anything in 3 weeks and now I'm struggling with phone calls and messages to get my money back, I don't recommend this company to anyone”

“I received good customer service from the company. I left messages twice and on both occasions they got in touch the same day. I was also sent a new pair of pistons free of charge when i mistakenly ordered the stronger ones and was unable to close the bed. It now opens easily. I ordered the deeper storage and there is a large amount of space although I had not realised quite how big the bed would look in the room. My fault as the size was given. I am happy with the bed and the company.”

“My king size ottoman base arrived and instantly the smell pervaded my house. The plastic had a very strong smell so I assumed it was that which smelt bad so I removed all the plastic wrapping and put it outside. However, the bed base continued to smell bad even after airing for a while and the smell still continues. After 3 days, I washed the whole base with washing detergent and a damp cloth. This masked the smell for a while - until it dried. The smell then returned. I then contacted the company and spoke to Umar who gave me lots of advice on ways to get rid of smells. I still had the packaging so I paid £6 to send this back to SoSOft beds so they could smell it for themselves. In the meantime, I followed Umar recommendations to use Bicarb. I brushed Bicarb all over the base, left it for a few hours and then vacuumed it all off. The bed still smells. I have not heard anything from Umar or So Soft Beds and really object to having to work so hard on a brand new piece of furniture which should arrive in good condition. I have received no apology or compensation of any sort or even a phone call to see if the base still smells. Other than the customer service and the smell. I am really pleased with the bed base and have ordered another one - although from a different company...”

“The customer service from the company is very disappointing. My ottoman bed was delivered in good time but once assembled, the gas lifting mechanism is way too stiff to operate easily . I’ve left many voice messages on the main customer service number and WhatsApp messaging . Nothing received back . That’s such a shame as the actual bed was well made . The customer service and any year guarantee is non existent. On that basis alone , please avoid the company.”
