“The videos themselves are good quality but I wish it was shared up front before purchasing that you need a heated pool for this program. By the time I realized I didn’t know anyone in the area with a heated pool, it was too late to ask for a refund. I also wish the training started with teaching your baby or toddler to safely turn onto their back and float, instead of so much focus on getting to the side of the pool. I think getting that survival skill asap would be a better use of time.”
Hi Lovely! Thanks for sharing your feedback!
We start with allowing parents a few lessons to familiarise themselves with submerging their child and the holding positions. This creates an ease of transition, allowing a child's (and parent's!) comfort zone to grow gently. Remember, this first Milestone is only an introduction and you can set your own pace for when you are ready to move on. Not much time is needed here for most parents and then we get straight into learning the first half of Survival Swimming, the Self-Rescue, including floating independently and rolling into a float.
A warm pool allows for a child to relax and therefore learn. If your child is older, and the water is tepid from the warm weather, you may still be able to use a non-heated pool.
I hope this encourages you to keep going with giving your little one these life-saving skills!
All the best!

“I feel like it’s geared more towards older kids. I bought this for my 6M old but I feel like it’s missing how to teach them to go
under water. I have a pool so I was hoping to get a lot of the program but now I feel stuck because I’ve done back float and water on his head. & I’m still waiting for a reply from them about the above & still no answer.”
Hi Jacqueline!
So glad you reached out again!! Our domain wouldn't allow me to reply to your email address. It blocked it and after lots of back and forth with my domain provider, I was still unable to get you unblocked. 😭
I was also unable to find you on Instagram but couldn't locate you so had no other way to contact you.
If you would like to email me from a different email address, repost your question in our comment section within the program, or reach out to me via instagram DM's, I will forward you my response!
In regard to your comment, yes, our program is designed for 12mths through to 6 years so is geared to this older age group.
Submersions are taught within the first Milestone over a couple of Activities.
That's great you have introduced assisted floating and water on his head. Well done! 🙌
This will give him a great head start when he's ready to begin our Survival Swim program.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Kindest Regards,
