I've never truly believed that all these different hair products actually make a difference. Though I'm still a sucker for nice-smelling pretty-packaged over-priced conditioner that claims to "work miracles", I can't vouch for any of them actually benefitting my hair long term (except Aussie to some extent).
Since discovering UG, however, I take back every comment I have ever made about shampoo and conditioner being a scam to cheat women out of money. This brand is AMAZING. I never thought my hair could look so good, my curls so defined yet silky soft and not crispy, split ends literally fixing themselves and each individual strand of hair nourished and sleek from scalp to tip.
I'm obsessed, I can't stop testing each one of their products and fall in love every time. Particular favourites include the hot pink shampoo and conditioner which gift my typically neglected hair much needed volume, bounce and moisture, while smelling incredible, as well as the avocado hair mask thing, again beautifully fresh smell rather than super sweet floral scent that you usually get with products aimed at ladies.
I can't recommend them enough. They really should sponsor me considering how much I rave about them. They also make considerable efforts to minimise waste, using recycled/recyclable materials where possible and ensuring all products are 100% vegan and cruelty free. So, so happy to have discovered them.

“I have used several other UG products, including other items in the Curl Jelly line, and really like them, but the curl Jelly mask is horrible. It feels okay in my hair, but everything goes downhill from there. After rinsing, my hair feels rough and isn't easy to brush even after applying leave in conditioner. I don't know what it is about this product because I use Shea and coconut in other items (banana superfood line) and have no texture issues. Unfortunately their "refund" policy only applies if you haven't tried the product. I'm just going to buy products from Amazon or target where I can return if it doesn't work for me.”
“Super good products the banana butter is really good too, fast shipping and my things came undamaged. I wanted to get the grow long shampoo and conditioner but it has sulphate in it so I’m kinda sad but there are other products that are sulfate free.”
“Be very careful with the Flowerology hair dye. I had a severe allergic reaction to it. My whole scalp, neck and ears became sore, inflamed and weeping, I was in so much discomfort. GP put me on steroids to clear it up - it took weeks! I sent 2 emails AND wrote a letter to the company but I didn’t receive a reply. I gave up. Very disappointed!”
