“Almost all of my loads I looked up with XXL were 8 to 10 grains below what Hodgdon, Nosler, Hornady, Swift, have published in their reloading manuals. It’s my opinion that XXL Reload needs to evaluate their testing criteria to align there findings closer to the actual to done by the bulletin and powder manufacturers.”

We are very transparent that our max loads by default contain a 10% safety buffer, while the other sources you quoted often don't. This most often explains why there can be a difference.

“Difficult to get reloading data for Barnes TXP 400 grains with European powders. US powders are hard to get. Vihtavuori are not helpfull regarding .416 Rem with Vihtavuori N550 powder.”

“Alles bestens! Man kann leider die eigene Ladung nicht mehr so einstellen wie vorher ! Das war viel besser um z.B. Ladungen und das Pulver ,L6 zu bemessen und übersichtlicher!”

“Eine unglaubliche Vielzahl an Ladedaten, auch weniger bekannter Kaliber. Für mich als ambitionierten Anfänger ist auch der Vergleich der verschiedenen Pulver sehr interessant, der durch den Filter schnell gemacht ist.”

“Great product and evolving. As a reloader with modest experience, XXL is a good jumping off point to begin a new load or refine an existing load. Having asked for an additional bullet to be added to their database, XXL responded within 2 weeks. The only shortcoming was the particular bullet has less resistance moving down the barrel due to the design, lowering pressure and altering velocity. Great starting point. I would recommend to a friend”

“Bin ein in die Jahre gekommener Jäger und lade mir meine Jagdmunition seit 50 Jahren selber. War mit der im Handel teilweise angebotenen Jagdmunition nicht zufrieden. (RWS 20 Patronen - 15 verschiedene Gewichte). Ich selber lege Wert auf einigermaßen Gewichtgleicht bei Geschoßen und den Zustand der Hülsen. Das Ganze mit den angebotenen Ladedaten ergibt für mich ein Ergebnis mit dem ich auf dem Schießstand zur Überprüfung meine Jagdwaffen und bei der Jagd mehr als Zufrieden bin.”

“Ich bin genügend mit den Daten der Büchsenpatronen. Einige Ladedaten fehlt noch, Hasler Bull 180gr im .30 Kaliber. Schrotladedaten wäre hervorragend!”
