“Always polite and helpful, but on two occasions I ordered a lens and in each case theitem had serious defects. To your credit, the faults were detected before despatch and money was immediately refunded. I realise you have many items to sort, but a quick check for fungus or a faulty shutter (in the latter case built into the lens) shouldn't take too long. I accept, of course, that some problems, like fungus, may not be apparent immediately, but only emerge during storage, but for two items to be found faulty doesn't loook good. Having said that, my son has just bought a camera fro you, which, so far, seems fine.”

“I've been buying items from WYC for years. Everything they've sent has been in the condition described or better. My latest aquisition was a Nikon MP-10 motor grip; boxed in super condition and fairly priced. The firm always pack their wares exquisitely with an enveloped greeting card complete with a sachet of Yorkshire Tea. Thanks for the cameras and thanks for the cuppas guys! The best second hand analogue camera store in the U.K. Peredur, Caerdydd.”

“For love of vintage used photography stuffs I could always commend West Yorkshire Cameras for the services in allowing me to find old pentax M42 and manual K mount lenses. My latest find was a used Pentax SMC 40mm f2.8 pancake lens still in excellent condition and appropriately priced. Five stars as always and highly recommended.”

“I sent my Pentax 67 over to West Yorkshire Camera to sell. I would highly recommend these guys as they were so helpful and thorough. They broke all their findings down into information I could understand and I knew that I would receive the camera back if I changed my mind about the sale. “I have placed a couple of orders with WYC in recent weeks, one large, one not so large. On both occasions the attention to detail was impressive. For the larger purchase I reached out to the team at WYC prior to placing my order, the team were quick to respond and answered all my questions. For the not so large order I simply placed the order via the WYC website. Both orders were straightforward. Whilst this point may seem trivial, the quality of the pack-job was imperative, on both orders. The fact that just as much care went into a sub-£50 order as one for several hundreds of pounds is a clear indication of a tream that cares and takes a pride in what they do. The bonus Yorkshire Tea bag was a pleasant surprise and I look forward to enjoying many a 'Proper Brew' on WYC. Definitely an eleven out of ten!”
