“After one msg from several men was redirected to emails which were costly . They were not happy to msg . Also audios msgs were sent immediately- sounded very artificial . Majority of photos on profiles are professional shots . A lot of white collar - “Drs, surgeons etc etc “ too good to be true. RUN RUN”
“I am so disappointed in this site. The first one I’ve tried (that will teach me to do research ahead of time) and it was a total scam. Luckily I figured it out super early before I lost tons of money. I’m still a sucker for a pretty face. My “selection “ kept taking me to different sections of the site that cost more to continue our conversation. After I figured it out I did a forehead palm plant-Duh!!!!!
There were so many hints. I said more than he did; gave more information. He evaded direct questions, quite well I must say, and did a wonderful job of redirecting me to keep the discussion going.
YourAgeMeets is not like legitimate sites that are up front with you on cost and sell a month, 3 months, etc at a time. YourAgeMeets sells credits that are used up as you converse. If one of you sends pictures the first is free to open up but the rest cost 10 credits each and so on. I realized I was racking up bigger amounts and when I wanted to go to our own emails “which would have cost nothing” he resisted. It was a great scam and it worked into the second day.
It really puts a bad taste in my mouth. You say it’s never going to happen to you but some of them are so good and I was trusting.
Other signs were the disregard for your filters. I put down an older age group and I was getting requests from 30s and 40s; very flattering but annoying. Another sign; the requests would pop up in the middle of what you were typing or reading; very distracting.
It makes me sad that human beings have become so greedy they resort to illegal activity to earn a living. What really pisses me off is the conversations were good and thought provoking and he was kinda hot for a 72 year old.

“The photos are mostly professional and the odds are, there are a lot of fake profiles. Also you can choose a country but not a city, so if you decide to take a chance you are forced to spend money to ask. As well the messages that you get are mainly canned and also you are asked questions so you answer. Doesn't feel right to me”
“The quality of the ladies I have met on the app is much higher than what I usually find on the bigger apps. People actually reply with more than one word and seem to want to talk! My only gripe is the site looks a bit dated and old school but since it works I can't complain too much”
